I think that was a good thing. I personally am sick of these calls, specially since I registered for the DO NOT CALL list. They are using some type of technology with computers that blocks their locations and identity, but I am sure that if you could afford it there is a technology put there to overcome theirs too. It's all a cyber Scam from the word GO. I too just got a call today, but I put my phone on silent, anyone really needing me knows how to reach me.

Got a call as well from these guys. Last week I got a very slick piece in the mail. Is there a Consumer Protection Agency in the house?

OH YEAH!!...very smart....has scam written all over.....I do not have any credit card. called them back and..........I think after my little conversation will not be calling me ever again...I work for the BBB.

Got a call yesterday, July 17, 2012 at 9:18 am. It was a recorded message offering to lower my interest rate. The message did not give the name of the firm that called. My caller ID said "unknown name".
I turned in a complaint to donotcall.gov.
