Received this call on our home phone. The phone rang about three rings before I could reach it and answer hello. I figured whoever was calling had probably hung up. But I was surprised the call hadn't disconnected and I could hear someone moving around in the background and a woman's voice and sounds from a child.

I kept saying hello, hello but nobody responded. I was about to hit the end button when a woman finally said hello hello into the phone and I said hello hello back but she seemed or pretended to not to be able to hear me and hung up.

I looked the number up on caller ID to return the call and received no answer it went into voice mail & the message box was full.

I'm not sure if someone was playing games with the phone and making random calls from that number or if it was simply a case of mis-dialing   it did seem strange especially since they didn't attempt to call us back if the call was intended.
