Guy called my place of employment stating a lawsuit was filed in my name and wanted $900+ that day. I got them to agree to bi weekly payments, which they said to purchase a Vanilla Reload card from Walgreens pharmacy. When I did not pay, I got a nasty message saying they were sending the local police to my place of employment to have me arrested. Then when I told them I couldn't pay, he said if I paid $100 that day, they would wait for two more weeks for another payment.  He said his name was John Walsh, but he had a heavy accent. This is supposedly from 2007; and I have a different job than I had back then. How would they know where I work now? This last time he called, the caller ID said it was from 911. Should I just ignore them?

I was called and told I owe over $900 to American Cash dating back to 2007. They wanted me to make a payment using Vanilla Reload Card. How did they get my employers number when I didnt work at the same place in 2007?

I got a phone call from this number, and because of the voice I could tell he was a young man, with an accent. He told me that I had a criminal lawsuit against me. I also applied for a loan online. I got really scared. Then he told me that he was my neighbor, and that he was watching me. I got really worried and scared. Don't make the same mistake I did.

You report this number to your states General Attorney and FraudDept.  They cannot threaten you and by law when they call you they need to let you know who they are and why.
Just respond that you have give your attorney this number and they are too stop calling you and your attorney will be contacting them. Also DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY information about you at all or answer any of there questions. Just respond STOP Calling.

These people are bottom feeders trying to collect debt off my Chapter 7 that was discharged in October of last year

This is crazy I'm super freaked out I've never been in thus situation unwilling never do loans online what shouldbi do? There threatening to put me in jail and call my job to say I'm a fraud I have no idea what to do??

What you do is..nothing. You ignore the insignificant pest. He's nothing more than a foreign Fraud. They can be hugely annoying, and that is it! They have no power, no authority. They will lie, swear, make threats and tie up phone lines. And that's all they can do. Explain to your employer that you are being targeted by a Fraud.
These scumbags have been doing this for years. The world has caught on to their scams and they're getting desperate. Your best bet is to tell everyone you know to laugh at them. They hate that. They're extremely low people who have given away their honor. They know that. Being belittled even more drives them into frenzies. They're funnier than hell when you get them riled up.
Never worry about a foreign Fraud. They're kind of like a Charlie-horse. A sharp pain that quickly goes away. Harmless, but can be a real pain in the A**!

i recieved the same msg at my work. this makes me very uncomfortable & don't know what i should do

ON 4-11/13 RECEIVED CALL THEY SAID FROM DEPT OF  PUBLIC SAFETY.SAID I WAS BEING SUED FOR $8645 AND I SHOULD GO TO COURT HOUSE IMMEDIATELY AND PAY. THIS WAS AT 10:19AM
THEY HAD MY SS# AND WANTED ME TO VERIFY IT BUT I DID NOT. ON 4/12 AT 1:41PM THEY CALLED MY CELL PHONE WITH A THREATING PHONE MSG WHICH I SAVED AND I WAS TOLD NOT TO IGNORE THIS MSG AND WISHED WE WELL. THEY ALSO CALLED MY HOUSE AT 1:41PM ON 4/12
MY DAD ANSWERED PHONE AND ASKED HIM NOT TO CALL THIS NUMBER AGAIN AND HE JUST LAUGHED.  I WAS GIVEN AN ACCOUNT NO OF SB130691-SC     MY MOM CALLED THIS NUMBER ON 4/11 AND THEY ANSWERD UNITED CASH LOANS ANS THE GUY GAVE HER A NAME OF ADAM RYAN. THEY HAVE CALLED OUR HOME AND CELL APPROX 5-6 TIMES.

I have been receiving many calls from this number they are harassing me, saying that I have a lawsuit under my name! will not stop[ gping to file lawsuit against them for harassment.Keeping number for my attorney!

Same as above. Thick accent threatening me with a law suit. All he could say was that he wished me well!!

This number is a scam, I also went online for a loan and it was a complete mistake!! ever since i did that I have been getting phone calls from this number stating that I owe them money. But how could I, I never took out a loan!! The man with the heavy accent stated that I would be served with papers tommorow from the police. I looked up the case number in VA MD and DC and no such case number exist!! I called my lawyer to have them call them back.  You guys know this is a scam becuase any collecter is required to state that they are a collecter and the call is being recoreded in the US.

I received a call from this number saying that if I don't pay then they would serve me lawsuit papers and have me arrested. I am going to file a claim with the attorney general's office in my state. rec'd phone call again on cell and at work.  claims to be an attorney office. the male has a heavy accent and is threatening stating they will arrest me for unpaid loan.  his name was john smith number calling from was 575-13-1131 on cell phone it came up unknown same with at work then a few minutes ago got the same call from a 00000000 number
i called back and told them my name and told them to stop calling my cell and work numbe that the FTC has been notified.  lets see what happens.  this has to stop

They called back this morning from an unknown number, same guy with an accent and he hunged up on me when I said I had reported the number.

Me too.  A scam.  Same situation.  They read off a script and just threaten and will try to get you to give them money.

Same here, this is a scam that I've heard about that's been going on for a while.  I'm going to contact my state's attorney general's office today!

I had the same call a while back with a differen number. It started when I began filling out for loans online. Never should of put my info out.
