Had a little fun with these guys - called them back over and over and over just to reverse harass them at 866-349-3917. I think I actually got cursed at in Hindi as well. How funny. Originating number was 576-023-8401

Man with Indian accent saying his name was James something - not an Indian name by any means - advising me to call 866-349-3917 right away because of a law suit - some  illegal charges regarding the IRS and my husband's name.

Got 2 VM's from this #, claiming to be from the IRS informing me of a legal complaint being made against me.  Both were heavily accented (African perhaps??) and were cut-off mid-stream w/lots of background noise.  Needless to say, I'm very concerned and hope they call back so that I can provide whatever information they request in order to prevent this legal action against me......J/K :))

This number is calling my house.

I got call from the number today and he pretended to be calling from IRS for my wrongly filed taxes for past year. Ask to pay my dues today in cash at a 7-Eleven close by. I immediately called police department and reported it.

Your caller is a scammer. Probably Indian. Ignore him. Block his calls if you can. Some telecom companies offer call blocking. Call them and inquire. If they don't offer blocking, a call blocking device can be found at Amazon. Under $75 for one that will block over 1000 numbers & area codes as well. If the foreign louse is calling your cell phone, apps. are available for free or for less than $10. That is, if you have a smartphone. If you don't, get one. They can be found for less than $100 & you won't need a data plan through your carrier. If your cell. provider says you do, change providers. The scammers are getting rabid. Your best bet to neuter them is call blocking.

I have been getting these scammer calls over the last few weeks - either claiming to be from IRS or Crime Bureau.  Here's the latest vm:
"This message is intended for michael(?) my name is Jack taylor(?) and I'm calling you from crime investigation Department. My call to let you know that we have received a case about against any way second you receive this message I need you all your retainer Tony off record to return the call before we take any kind of legal lakes-in(?) the gas to the issue at hand is extremely time sensitive you. The number to reach us is 2028641202. I repeat it's 2028641202. Don't disregard this message and do return the call. Now if you don't return the call and I don't hear from your attorney either the only thing I can do is wish you good job. Bye bye."

Called me this morning left the message call us back on toll free number 18442980231 otherwise they will place arrest warrant against me .its a fake call person seems to be either indian or pakistani. They should be punished

First it was a woman that I could barely understand, thick Indian accent. Then "her boss" got on the line. Still couldn't understand , he also had a thick Indian accent.  He told me that a loan I received from the company they represent never got their money back. When I said the loans I do have are in good standing and they come directly out of my account, he said well they aren't getting the money and that he is putting a warrant out for my arrest and he will be calling my place of employment to garnish my wages. So if I got fired and made my credit score get low, then it was my own fault. When I kept arguing with him that he was wrong he kept getting louder and then hung up. Probably when he realized I wasn't giving in.

Caller ID showed this number and "name not found."   I will not return the call.  Thanks for the warnings above.

Got numerous messages from this number saying that if I or my lawyer do not contact them then I will be in legal trouble and that they could no longer help me. They wished me good luck and said they were not responsible for any legal claims brought against me. This is obviously a scam and I should not respond, right people?!?!?!?!

Caller (Indian accent) telephoned from the 576 area code and claimed they were calling on behalf of Microsoft Corporation and the man said Microsoft got a notice that there was a problem with our computer.  I hung up.  This is a scam.

I just received that call saying they are calling from Federal government GUN DEPARTMENT! I started laughing and asked since when the feds are in India :) they didn't find it funny and hung up.

I got a call but it is a female voice. The lady can't even read the script correctly. She claims to be calling from IRS. At the end of the call she gives different number, 20245961071 to call back!  

Same voice, male Indian accent (?); from what I could understand some kind of lawsuit against me, could not understand what for, if I did not call back to settle this matter out of court they were not responsible for me losing my job and destroying my credit.  Seems like a ploy to get your social security number when you call back to dispute......Love how someone else posted that it was about a home security system; you would think if they change there "game" they would at least not use the same number to call you with
