Telemarketer called, knew my name, address, and seemed to know the rate of our mortgage (about 2% above current offerings).  Claimed to offer a lower interest rate via refinancing.  I declined.  Pressed me for information about the term of my mortgage, and when it was expiring.

Creeped me out.  Did not clearly identify himself (only gave personal name of ??? Rodriguez).  I was vague in my answers, but I wish I had simply hung up.  

Potential mortgage fraudster?

Someone calls asking to speak to the owner of the business...I said the owner is not here right now, may I ask who is calling please.... They stated that they are calling from "Capital USA" (sp?) regarding financial business... I told them to take the name of of their list, we are not interested.  They began to argue and challenged me as to whether I was the owner of the business. I said NO... but I do handle the financial affairs... we are not interested and take our # off of you list or I will do it myself... They said okay then you do it yourself.  

Hmmmmm... Definitely does not sound like anyone that should even know crap about my financial business.... NO WAY!

One number of several that always ask for Edward.  Demand to be removed from their company's call list & am always told this is the first time they (the person) has called.  Still getting calls from variations of this number.
