just got a text from5803660367 simply saying Hi <name>. I responded, who is this, and they responds some bs about their phone was dying. My response was to call the police and ask not to be contacted again. No telling what this is

Just received another text from this person. Last one was about a month ago from a different number but matching the post where they said IM them because the battery was dead. Never did as I do not use IMs but also when I looked up that number, I only found that it was a landline? No posts like this existed. Today was my second text that said "hola (my name)". I responded as I have a new phone and not all my contacts transfered. Unfortunately, I did not look up the number until now to see this. Calling Verizon now. Definitely strange.

They just texted me and told me if I wanted to find out who they were I had to IM them on Yahoo messenger. They said their name was txtiewoman49. Claimed her cell battery was dead.
