I received a text with my name as well wanting me to instant message them back, when I asked who it was they just replied that their phone was going dead;(

I got the same thing but hi curstie and I asked who it was and they askedif I was on y messanger and I sid no. And they said omg my I phones dying and I said I donnt care who is this and never got an answer

I called it back and got a message recording by some lady talking about "Text Plus" and that I could text my number to get my own...wtf?

Just received a text from this number identifying my first name.  I don't know anyone from this number.

Didn't know the number. I text'd back.

"Hello Ashley..." Is all it said. Creepy as hell since it they knew my name and didn't answer when I txted back.

OMG!!! I just got the same text. I responded asking who it was and they never answered. This is so weird. They knew my first name, too and spelled it correctly. My name is common but not spelled the typical way. This is super strange!

Got a message saying the same thing.  They did not reply when I responded.

Got the same scam text to steal your id

I got the same message.  When I asked who it was.  They just responded that I need to add them to my yahoo messenger.  Like hell!

I got a text from this number, they used my first name which is kind of creepy because I don't know anyone in Oklahoma.  The message just said "Sharri are you there? Haven't heard from you in awhile." I did not answer it.

Unknown origin for text message ("Are you there?" ), no name given, number not in my records.

Just wondering who is it
