We got a call from this number today. Left no message, but the caller ID said "G. Wiliams"

This number just called me instroduced themselves and that they represent American Financial then asked how I was doing.  I said fine and then they hung up.  I have been recieving these kind of calls for over three months now.

"G Williams" has been calling 2x a day since April 1st. Man with accent called today and asked for husband then for the wife using the wrong name. Male voice, heavy accent, kind of threatening.

I received a call from the company who stated that they represented a group of lawyers who assist with Debt relief.  When I said I was not interested in what they had to sell the caller told me "Well then DIE!"

I just got a call from the same a-hole. He was explaining some program to lower your debt. He just kept talking and so I asked him what the program was. He just kept talking on and on, so I finally told him that I wasn't interested and hung up. He called me back and asked why I hung up. I told him, I wasn't interested. I hung up again and he called AGAIN. This time I just picked up and hung up without saying anything. Most people would have gotten the pic by now, but this guy with a heavy Indian accent called back again. He said that he was trying to be polite and that I was acting rude and like an animal. WTF!! I told him not to call back and he said he will. I told him to transfer me to his supervisor and he said that he was. I told him that I'm not interested and then he told me to F-off and called me an A-hole!!! I'm so pissed!

Someone please play along with these guys.. give them bogus info but get a real call back number and post it so we can report them to the FTC for violating laws regarding spoofing ANI.

I received a call from this number today.  I was nice and asked questions.  He said he got my information from a research company.  When I told him I don't owe the money he claimed I did,  he asked how much I do owe.  I told him I don't know and he said well you owe money and don't even know what amount you owe.  I told him to research it and find out for me.  Then asked his whereabouts at which time he stated some place in India and around the US.  He said I bet you are going to tell me you are on the NCL.  I said yes I am...at this time his tone and voice became more harsh.  I blew my referre's whistle in the phone and he hung up.  I expected him to call back, but so far he hasn't.  He claimed his name was Sammy and talked with a heavy middle eastern accent.

I was just thinking about the rape whistle idea..lol..  thats for the next call..  It will help them to understand what remove my number from your list means....  I wish I had a train horn...

We got a call twice from this number once it was an older man claiming to be from a debt company in which my husband just hung up and then later in the night I got a call from the number but it was a female asking for me. When I got to the phone she hung up and I researched the number. What freaks me out is that I'm new to the US mainland and I have only recently been getting these letters and calls after filling out a loan application with liberty mutual! No one else knows my name is connected to this house phone number, because it us under my husbands name!

this has been reported to the police the Mass attorney Generals office, frontier communicaitons. the guy is a real jerk.
rude swearing and threatening. told me I was really going to be sorry threatening harassing,,,,I hung up and he called back calling me a rude B*&^h.  going to get lawyers to sue me but can't tell me what I owe or to whom. scam artist with Indian accent

Keep on getting calls from this number and they hang up.  They also don't leave any messages.  IT comes up on my caller ID as out of area  1-585-288-3198.  Getting sick and tired of these harassing calls.  Am going to notify the authorities.  And I am on the Do Not Call Registry.

I got a call from this man today and he told me that I was $8,000 in debt.  I told him I didn't know who he was and would not discuss any of my financial business with him.  He then told me "well, hang up then."  He then hung up the phone.  I am really sick of these people calling. I don't usually answer these calls, but get tired of the phone ringing, if you know what I mean.

Just got call from them guy was a jerk some accent and asked about Dept I dont have I happen to have google up googled the number saw this so I I kept him on the line kept asking him questions and let him talk then asked him what this sounded like and hung up

I just got a call from this number on my home phone. It showed up as "International" on my caller ID and so I picked it up since we have a lot of family who lives overseas.

The caller asked for me by my first name and when I asked who he was he stated that he was "Daniel Smith" from "American Financial". They are not a company I have ever done business with. When I mentioned the do not call list, I immediately got a nasty beep in my ear and he hung up.

I am going to keep monitoring this number from now on.

Called this morning with a "credit assist" offer.  I told the caller, who sounded Indian, that I wasn't buying what he was selling, he claimed he wasn't selling anything.  I said "NO!", and hung up.

just so you know.  I spoke with frontier telephone.  the number was last active with them in june of last year.  its likely a voice over IP / gateway that is spoofing the number.  someone must play along and get the real phone number.

Someone please play along with these guys and get a real phone number.  give them bogus info or something but get a number.  That way we all can report them to the FTC for violating laws against using a spoofed ANI.

This number just started calling my house today. Since I didn't know the number I decided to google it and I'm glad I did. The caller leaves no voice message but we are also on the do not call list and will be reporting this number.

this guy, (different name EVERY time he calls) same voice, calls every SINGLE DAY 3 & four times a day, we asked MANY of times for them not to call, we are UNINTERESTED!, but he keeps calling, well today, he got REALLY rude with me, when i said didnt we say STOP CALLING, he said are you retarded, are you retarded, SHUT UP then, i said f^ck you! & i hung up! i bet he calls back i will GO OFF ON HIM!!!!

I received a call today and when he asked for me I told him I was not home.  He then called back and when I  told him that was not my name (got married) he proceede to yell at me.  I then asked for a supervisor and he screamed at me again.  I told him I was not interested and that I wanted to be off his list.  He then threatened me by saying "I don't know who I am messing with".

This number seems to be a scam.  A threatening one at that.  The caller ID said G Williams.  Caller stated that they were with a group of lawyers from American Financial and had a program for debt relief.  When I stated that I was not interested.  The Caller said "Well then DIE!"  and hung up.

There has got to be a way to stop these people....many times in each day, keep calling and calling.  If I wanted their services I would call them.

This number has called my house at least twice a day for almost a week. Comes up as "Williams G" and wants to consolidate my debt .Every time, I answer and ask if they will please take me off of their list. I get hung up on in the middle of my sentence. I have been reporting them to donotcall.gov every single time they call. I am on the list, I wish they would actually enforce the penalties that companies are supposed to face when calling numbers on the do not call list. Very aggitating.

This number has called twice so far.  Yesterday a man with an Indian accent called and asked for me by name, and when I said "This is he," he told me "Our records indicate you have over $10,000 in credit card debt..."  I then told him I wasn't interested in refinancing and he started telling me to listen to what he has to say but I just said no thank you and hung up.

Today he (or another man with an Indian accent from the same number) just called again and my wife answered (while I was not home).  He again asked for me and when she told him I was away he asked if she was my wife.  She said yes, and he started with "Our records indicate you have over $8,000 in credit card debt..." (Interesting how the number changed, I expect they make it up).  She told him that's ok, we don't want to refinance or anything. He then became very irate with her, yelling at her to listen to him and that he said nothing refinancing!  She told him he was being rude and asked to speak to his supervisor.  He said, "You don't know the kind of power I have, but you are going to find out!  You'd better hang up!"  She sat stunned for a moment and he said, "I haven't heard you hang up yet!"  She freaked and hung up and called me.  I told her to file a police report just so it's on record, because he directly threatened her (if vaguely).

same happened here.  Said he was from northstar financial.

This same number called our house last week and asked for my husband.  I said he was not available and asked that we be removed from his call list.  He just called back about an hour ago and asked for my husband again.  When I said he was not available and told him that I talked to him last week and asked to be removed from his call list, he stated that it was not him and had to be another company.  When I finally did pass his call along to my husband, this caller told him it was about credit card consolidation.  My husband said we were not interested and to take our name off, like his wife requested.  This caller said that he would not hang up until he said everything he wanted to say.  My husband hung up on him.  The caller called again.  My husband again told him to take our name off his calling list.  This caller replied that he could call as many times as he wanted - and did call again right away - which we didn't answer.  We contacted the local police just to make them aware of what was happening.  Unfortunately the police can't do anything about this except give us various websites to report it on.

they have been calling me once a day for several days. i don't pick up, but they keep calling.

Just got a call from a man with accent and bad English. Told him my husband not home and he said he would call back wheny husband was. Kind of threatening.
