They have left me two threatining messages about blacklisting me and blocking my name,social security number, drivers license and income. They told me ss# but last digit was wrong i guess it was hard to understand him His name is Tom Miller uncommon for an indian.

OK People I'm so happy I found you guys because this goon! has been calling me demanding payment! I have no idea who he is (BRIAN JORDAN), where he's from (Law enforcement division?! wtf), or what payday loans he was referring to. These goons are scammers! and you shouldn't bother replying to them! I had a suspicious feeling something was up because they never wanted to give me there information, and I was never given a notice for any action prior to this call. sketchy a** people man.

Thank goodness I found this website.  This indian guy called me at my work 6 times yesterday.  I didn't give him any info as I figured it was a scam.  He said he is from the Department of Law and Investigation.  His name (so he said) is Jack Smith.  He called my cell phone 3 times and left a threatning message to call him immediately or he would not be responsible for what happens.  How annoying they are and persistent.  Seems they don't like being told they are being recorded so I will try that next time they call.  What idiots.  I just hope people out there aren't falling for this scam.

I was at work so I was answering the phones, the guy comes on with a heavy accent and asks for me. I tell him that it was me and waited for him to tell me why. All the time the phones are ringing and people are needing my attention. I am getting frustrated because I need to be working not talking to this  guy. I tell him I can't understand him and that he is going to have to repeat everything. This goes on for several minutes with him telling me he is "Officer Ronnie Williams" with Department of Law and Investigation. Number one. I majored in criminal law and attended Police Academy and I've never heard of this before. Number two. Ronnie....really? With that accent?
Ok, so I get my supervisor to man my station as I talk to this guy to try and figure out what so-called fraud charges are being brought against me.
He tells me that cashnet marketing is filing criminal charges on me for getting a payday loan and not paying it back. I said I never got a loan. He said if I didn't comply that in 48 hours there was going to be someone at my house. Well, he had the last 4 digits of my social security number, he had my mother's home address and he had my work email address and my work phone number. HOW??? Well, I had applied and gotten a payday loan through another company. I can only assume this is a third party payday loan finder that sold my information including my social security number to this guy.

He tells me not to interrupt him and to listen to the different charges against me. I said ok, tell me. Once again, I cannot understand him. He is speaking with a thick middle eastern accent. Of course, who else would do something like this?

I tell him, you know what? Give me your company name and address and I am calling the better business bureau. Well he starts getting madder and says I can file charges against the company all I want but when I am done I will have paid upwards of $3,000 for my mistake. That I will lose my job, that I will never find work again, that the money will go against my credit ( big whoop, I have no good credit anyway) I am starting to notice that he is full of it by this time. I said if you are from a Federal Agency send me a certified letter then. Go on, send me one. He goes off in some tirade I can't even understand and hangs up on me.

I called my loan company and verified with them (americashadvance.com) that my loan was fine and that many, many people have been getting this same call and not to worry but to check my credit report to make sure these people aren't stealing my identity. Geesh. If you want all my bad credit go for it morons! HAHA.

I called him back. This officer Ronnie. I told him the biggest mistake he made was to tell me that I was going to lose my job, HAHAHAHA! My manager laughed at him too!

I returned the call and a gentleman with an Indian accent asked if I was the manager of a Rachel Whitehead.  Then he asked to verify my social.  He specified that he was with the federal government but also worked with law firms, particularly one in Albany (mispronounced the name), New York.  When I told him he was calling a federal agency, he did not flinch.  Not a scam, probably a bill collector but outsourced to a foreign country.

The phone calls started last month n its allways with a different number. He called my job and cell many times and at firat I thought it was legit but bull! I haven't taken out any loans in over 4 yrs.. when I told him I was going 2 file a police report he hung up on me n stopped calin for about 2 wks n then 2day he called me at my job 3 times n said his name was officer williams of department law and investigation. He's very rude has my social n info and said that if he wasn't real how would he have my info. I told him that he could have stolen them n that he was going to get me fired from my job because he was going 2 continue 2 harass me n then when I told him I was recording everything he was saying he hung up on me..

I meant to say the caller stated that I shouldn't disregard the calls or the voicemails.

Over the past three months I received several calls from a man with a Middle Eastern accent. The caller states that call is intended for me and that I should disregard the call. In addition the caller advises to contact him or have my attorney of record contact him. The caller may or may not state the organization he is representing. I've heard United Nations Legal Dept and Dept of law investigation or Dept of law and investigation. The numbers that are used vary but today the call came from 206-494-9652. The callback number that was left on the voicemail was 585-331-8620. Today's caller said his name was Officer St Johnson but told my friends his name was Sam Johnson. Yes they are calling my friends as well now. The caller claimed that I gave their names as a reference. I sent everyone a text not to take the calls. Why would you give someone's name as a reference in unknown legal case being filed against your name and or social security number?

This piece of foreign material contacted my work several times, and I've told him do not call there.  He then was on the phone with a co-worker and proceeded to tell her that if she was a reference for me that she could be in trouble legally with them as well.  I got on the phone and told them she couldn't understand him, told him he was repeatedly told not to call this place of business and that I will record his conversations and contact our District Attorney's Office and the Attorney General's Office is try's again.  He then proceeded to use profanity and called me a "Mother-***ker" and several other names.
BOY was I po'ed beyond belief and am more mad that I didn't record the conversation.

OMG these fools started calling me since last month and they are persistent. Somehow they have your SS# and info so it sounds legit at first.  First they called me from some NYC cell phone # when I looked it up online.  
The #'s they call you from range from a 530 area code to unavailable, private or just 022, 1(022) on the caller ID.  They leave the exact same message everytime like the other ppl posted on here "This message is intended for_____, time sensitive blah blah".  
Always some indian guy and rude as f*ck.
When i got the first vmail this guy left, i called back to see what it was about and he said i took out a payday loan out in 2008..i did no such thing...said I owed $4500 but can settle it for $700 right now, ..said some bullsh*t lawyer's name in SF and said i had to go to court otherwise.  I told him this was ridiculous and  why the hell would i have to go to court in Sf?  i never even lived there.   He said this was real and then he hung up on me. WTF??  i called him back and asked him his name and he said his name was Marvin something...come on,, i'm sure his name was Habib or Patel something. Then he hung up on me again!  
I called my lawyer and the district attorney's office and they can't do crap and it's just annoying!
They kept calling so I told him my lawyer's # and info and told them good luck like they always leave in their messages.  They never called my lawyer.  Can't anyone do anything about these b*****ds?
They stopped calling for a while but it's started again, they call like 5 times in a row from different werid #'s and symbols on the caller id and leave the same message...same indian guy, good luck, god bless, lol...

I got the same message as above leaving differnt peoples name who is it how they get our number calling every 5 min and its only a 4 didgit number on the caller id

I've been called by these people and at first it freaked me out till I googled the number and found these posts. Has anyone figured how to stop them?  The government needs to know someones posing as them ya know. I'm having a difficult time in life right now and their call actually scared me. It was very hard to understand them so it kinda tipped me off to look more into it. I'm glad I did I feel better now.

These calls have become very annoying.. The lady that calls me says her name is Jessica Smith and of course with a very thick Indian accent. the threats have gotten as far as saying if i don't return the call i will be very sorry Please if any one has any information on how to make them stop please,please provide..

That's the exact same thing he sadi to me he ended it that if I didn't return their call that they would search me out. Then ended goodbye. Very hard to unerstand him and he called back to back within 5 minutes. Very annoying

good afternoon i receive a call  from a guy name Officer Mark Williams, claiming that old  for debt from a payday loan which i don't then transfer me to a Dective which he was claiming to get a file on me which i hung up in his face i told i have attonery that calling the better business buera, i believe it's this company name husdon law firm they have many differnt names the people you speak to sound they from indian.

I get these calls all the time at home and at work. Very thick Indian accents and always very english sounding names. They say they are from the department of law and investigation???? They never will provide any specific info about some debt they say I owe, but want credit card numbers. BIG SCAM ARTISTS!!!!! They even told me that the police would be at my house to arrest me if I didn't give them the information to pay some debt.

This a**le just called my job saying his name was jack smith I proceeded to speak with him he gave me a case number saying that i owed a payday loan that i had no knowledge about. I hung on him he then called back and said investigaters were watching my home this is what blew becuz the investigaters never let u knw when they are watching you. So i hung up he called back and ask why did I hang up on him he sound so stupid I look his number up on dirty numbers.com and its a scam hang up on him

I got the same phone calls saying that it was for a loan on the internet and the were filing motion? (also didnt apply for)When I tried to call the number back it didnt even ring. Should I pay any attention to this? They called me 4 times at work today and also knew my ss#. I got a call from a 585-331-8620 Number and the guy sounded as though he was Indian or Arabian. He called my job saying his name was Jack Smith (come on now...) Then he said he was from the Federal Bureau of Law and Investigation about an internet loan that I had applied for but never paid for.  I NEVER APPLIED FOR ANY LOAN AT ALL. He had my bank and even told me my last 4 digts of my social, address and job. He sounded very convincing. But like others, when he called me it first said New York, then when he called me again the number read Tennessee. I asked him where he was located and he said NY, so I then asked him why was the number reading from Tennessee. He said that it was a number that it had probably rolled over from. He said that they would look into the case and I asked for the number of the loan company to contact them as well and he said that it was not necessary but to wait for his call in 2 wks. He called me back hrs later wanting to speak on a personal level asking me if I was married, had kids, and my age. He then wanted to call me in the morning saying that he just wanted to check on me and I made up an excuse to get out of the call. He was very persistant. I since then have closed my yahoo account, my bank account and have filled for another SSI # as well as change my phone number. I dont need any more misunderstandings from this clown.

I just got a call from an Indian sounding person who got very upset when I kept asking him to idetify himself. When he wanted me to give him my information and told me that there were 11 lawyers listening to this call and to be very careful about what I said. I knew something was up. I told him my lawyer will be calling them back and hung up. I dialed the number he gave me and there is no answer.

Its insane they call my work everyday as well as my cell phone what is this all about?
