Got a call from this number, no message left.
I called back and they were very professional but required me to give them the last four of my social, I declined. The only identification the man would provide was that he was with "ARS". Sounds like a collection agency? "Account Recovery Services" maybe?

Missed call showed up and I called back. A man new my name and wanted my social security number to identify me. He said he had the last 2 digits and he could not tell me who he was until he was sure who he was talking to. Never mind that he knew my name from the call back number. I told him to get lost and not call again.

Asked for my exhusband who has never lived here or been connected with this phone number. She said it was a personal call and asked for another number where he could be reached. I told her I can't give her that information, but maybe I could help her. She hung up then.

Another call from this number, when I answered it I got ringing for 90 seconds and finally hung up.
I had previously directed them that they should not contact me on my cell phone if they weren't going to actually talk to me, apparently this didn't mean anything to them.

Received 2 calls for Ellen McGarity on my phone. First call approximately 15 Jan 09; caller left message saying that it was a "Personal call for Ellen McGarity." Second call today; Caller refused to provide any details regarding purpose of the call, but said she would remove my number from their database. Female caller spoke with Midwestern accent, seemed professional and did not solicit any information, but would not provide any information regarding the nature of the call.
