Received a silent call from this number that hung up after a few seconds. Called back, and a woman with an accent answered for a pharmacy. I asked what I had been called about and she said it was about "a previous medication called [insert generic drug name ending in "ex" here]". I hung up after that. Assuming its a telemarketer/scam, considering they're calling from a New York number and I'm in western Canada.

Please have them stop calling me, I don't know who they are so STOP!!!

Keep calling, I did not answer thinking it was a bogus call,  no message left either. I conclude it is a bogus call.

same thing happened to me. A few days later they called back, but I was ready. I let them ramble for a while then I popped a balloon and said "I'VE BEEN SHOT!" and they never call back! Best way to get rid of a telemarketer! :D

They keep calling me and I keep telling them they have the wrong number but they keep calling even though I am on the do not call list, my phone is a company phone and I get charged for any un company calls. Can't this harassment get stoped, I mean the phone is registered as a DO NOT CALL, WTF.

Really? The order was apparently placed in 2005? Service slower than a herd of turtles stampeding through peanut butter.  Wouldn't you have called them back by now if you had placed an order and not received it yet?  Don't they know this?.

I have received calls from this number numerous times before, about once a week.  This is a trick that my friend told me about and it seems to work, or at least it worked for me. When you receive a call from this number, go ahead and answer it, but don't say anything.  Not even hello.  NOW THIS IS THE MOST IMPORTANT STEP, MAKE SURE THE CALLER FROM THIS NUMBER ENDS THE CALL AND NOT YOU.  If you do this, calls from that number will stop.  I don't know the specifics, but the call becomes a non-viable number (no point in calling) so your number is no longer from the call list.  Simple if you think about it.  I can't garantee that it will work for everyone, but I did it 4 1/2 weeks ago (ok 34 days ago) and have not received a call from this number since.  I'm on the Rogers network with a pay-as-you-go account.  Give it a try and if it works for you pass it along.

How come with all the complaints against these people no one seems to be able to find out who and where they are so we can pull their phones lines out of their building??????????????

It's some sort of pharmacy. They keep calling me saying that I placed an order. When I tell them I didn't they say well it will be there once we process it. I keep telling them to stop calling and take me off of the list but they keep calling. If you get a call from this number, ignore it.

All you have to do is say "remove me from the list please". A phone operator's job is just the span of time between their final failure in life and their eventual suicide. No reason to get mad...

Just received a call from 585-331-8966. This is how it went. WORD FOR WORD

Phone Operator: Hello, thank you for calling.
Me: Yeah, you called me.
Phone Operator: Ah yes, is this *****?
Me: Who's this?
Phone Operator: I'm calling on behalf of your order.
Me: Order? I didn't make an order. Who is this?
Phone Operator: Online Pharmacy. You placed an order back in 2005.
Me: I didn't place any order.
Phone Operator: You probably don't remember. Do you still live at *****? (My OLD old address)
Me: I didn't order anything. Who is this? You need to remove my name from your list otherwise I am going to call the proper people and have you fined.
Phone Operator: Fined, really?
Me: Yeah!
Phone Operator: Listen to me very carefully. Kiss my a** and...
Me: No, no, no. Listen. Your Mother was a w***e. Good-bye

Tried to call back several times with no answer. What worries me is that they have my name and phone number. Not too worried about them having my old address.

There is, go to your ATT online account and you can enter the number in your "blocked caller" list.

They claim to sell a male enhancement product Vitamax or Vimax.  Unfortunately I have a sales job so I'm always answering phone numbers I don't recognize.

Called the number back and they answered "Hello Online Pharmacy"  before I hung up on them.  If I don't know the number, I never answer the phone.  If the call is important they will leave a message.
