Some one called me right now from this # a lady caller and told me about claims on me. its a scam. watch it guys

It's a Debt Collector that bought a very old debt.
It's getting close to that 7 yr mark, so they are trying to get people to make payments.
If you make any payment it starts the clock over again on that 7 yr mark.

When things originally went sour with this debt and I tried to work something out with the original debtor (Bank of America) and they absolutely refused to work with me. Now the company that bought the debt wants 12 times the amount originally owed.
Good Luck with that.
I'm dirt poor and judgement proof, so I basically just laughed at the guy and his attempts to try to get me to pay something and eventually he hung up on me.
Guess they are used to people yelling at them and freaking out. They don't know what to do when you laugh at them.

Receive a voice mail message yesterday @ 5pm EST from a female caller asking to be called back in reference to a claim # 10-3777. (Message was not clear) I  called the number back spoke with the callee who claims that the message was for ____________ regarding a civil claim against that person.  RSC is a third party agency who recieved a referral to try and reach the named defendant regarding this claim.  Not sure how RCS obtained my telephone number, however the wrong number was reached....
