bobby i have same guy called me 3 times ,telling me he will arrest my wife and me i asked him why he said i owed Irs the money , as soon i hanged up i got the call from sheriff dept .police said that the scam.
don't even give a single penny.

Received a call on my personal cell phone from 585-697-2898 reporting that the call was from the IRS.  Told to call immediately or have my "attorney" call and if I didn't, there would be problems.  IRS contacts you first by mail, not by personal cell phone.  Warning:  This is a scam!

Looks like the idiot who plagued my phone for 18 months using 500+ numbers is at it again. Ive heard that dialog so many times ive got it memorized. Mine was the payday loans scam that i owed money then it changed to i applied for a loan. With the IRS scam they often say you owe and when they cant get to you they change it to some government grant that your eligable for that doesnt exist. Im concidering buying a fresh phone number and posting it here on who calls me to give them a free lead so i can mess with them and tie up one phone line. My perssonal best was 3 hours 18 minutes that was a total blast.

585-697-2898 Scam - supposedly coming from IRS threatening you and telling you good luck if you don't call back

I just receive a call from this number, and as i am looking for a job i picked up. They scared the hell of me after hearing what they have to say. I called my brother right away and he said that they are fraud and if i want i can file a complaint against them. I called the cops and i will report complaint against them...i wish the person name James Morgan thats what he calls himself, goes to jail and never come back...

Duplicate of the same message I received. Again IRS would send you paperwork or a paper trail and not have some liar pretend he's an IRS agent making threats which is illegal. IRS should know about this.

Same story. Guy claims his name is Adam Scott from IRS. Ends the message with "you or your attorney should call this number soon or GOOD LUCK" . Cheeky b*****d!!!

I got a call from that same number this morning at 7 am and again at 10:30am. I'm ignoring it and don't really care what they have to say.

I received the same call from someone named adam scott.  I called back and he asked my my name and phone number.  I told him it was the one he just called.  He said good bye and hung up.  I wouldnt worry too much about this guy.  I'm sure its a scam, just dont call back or give them any information.  If it was real you would get a letter, not a phone call.

It's all good.  They said they were calling the local police department for a warrent for my arrest within 45 minutes.  I laughed at them indicating that legally, I should have received some sort of paper trail or documentation.  If they are so intelligent, they have my home address and can reach me by certified letter.  I wouldn't give them a thing.

Received a message from 585-697-2898.  The speaker claimed to be Carl Adams from the IRS.  He stated that if I, or my attorney did not return the call, he wished me, "Good luck."  I detected the frequency fluctuations of his voice indicated that the voice was computer generated.

I received call from the same # informing me that they calling from an IRS tax crime investigation & I owe IRS money and if do not respond back to them will face problems , also wanting to have my attorney contact them either. I had heard similar thing happened to one of my friend, however I spoke to local IRS who informed me that I do not owe money and I'm good at my Taxes.
I called the number and confronted the guy "dev Bakshi" - he stated the audit was done at NY Buffalo office and the information has not been shared with the local tampa office.
Really apprently per him they are trying to chase me since 2013 july and they have not even informed local office on this ..
I do not know what to do with this !!

There's no organization known as the Federal Crimes Enforcement Network, and the callers are frauds lying out of their a***s.

Started with a incoming 911 and about 2 hours later the head of HR where I work calls me and give me this info from Deputy Thomas has a warrant for my arrest. That he is from the Federal Crimes Enforcement Network, that I was to call 585-697-2898 ext 707 and contact Crystal Shannon yeah sure not happening.

i just got a call as well. First i received an incoming call from 911. it was a male who stated i have a warrent for my arrest and i need to call ph # 585-697-2898. When i called that # i was told good luck, i am going to be picked up from the police and i have a warrent for my arrest. This man had my SSN #. This is a scam.

Any thing else happen here?  I'm getting the same calls.

I got a call today from Deputy Watson. She said she was from the Texas State Sheriff Department in Houston, TX.  She said she had set up a case file and had a notarized warrant of my arrest. She said I need to call Officer Rachel White with the Federal Crime Enforcement Network.  She said I needed to call Officer Rachel within the hour or they would sent somone to pick me up.  She said to call Officer Rachel White at 585-697-2898 extension 303 to settle the claim or be prepared to be arrested. She then ended the call by sayin she was Deputy Watson from the Texas State Police.

Received a call from a rachel white who claimed she worked for NY Federal Court Claims and told me that there's multiple cases against me and have documentations to prove that and I need to call her back within half an hour or my attorney. Claimed if I don't call her back she will proceed with the prosecution claim and an officer will come to my work and pick me up. I have called my local WA State's Attorney's General office and told me not to call them back and if they call back to hang up on them because they're not a legitimate company at all. They're fraud and scammer to get money out of you. I am also reporting it via email to NY's Federal Court Claims for imposing that she works for them.
