With caller ID, I don't answer this type of call, however we have received numerous calls from this same number. The most recent was this a.m., Dec. 4. It is always irritating to be called repeatedly like this. I'm considering giving up the land line.

It would be nice if there was a way to identify the executives of the companies making these calls in violation of the do-not-call laws.
Local authorities don't want to take the time or resources to track down the source, so nothing will ever happen unless we can go to them with everything they need to prosecute the offenders.
Then, we could also publish this information in their local newspapers so their neighbors would know they are living next to law breakers.

Asked to speak with person in charge of NYSEG account, when I told him to stop calling and that we were not interested he laughed and used foul language and hung up.

Wanted to speak to the person in charge of the NYSEG account. I told him to get lost and quit calling me. He hung up.

They were calling regarding some Utility switch from what I have to RGE.

said he was calling about nyseg when questioned said he could not talk to me about it...
