Ingot the same thing today.. I asked who it was and they said " lol my cell is going to die add me to yahoo and see who I am"... I thought it was someone playing around and when I added then it's some chicks body .. How can I report it or can't I ?

It's definitely a security breach in some set of user data, and the ID theft artists are texting to confirm they have the actual names and phone numbers of people. I just had the same thing happened to me: the texted me and said hi ( my name ) it's been a while let's chat add me on yahoo messenger. They wouldn't identify themselves

you got a sms saying my name you there? havent heard from you in a while, when i replied asking who it was, they answered to add them on yahoo messenger to find out , user id : elfieieq138. i dont know anybody in new york, so i blocked the number.

they texted me and said boo
