Got calls 3 times today, @ 4:52 pm, 7:05 pm, and 8:39 pm.  Caller ID says Research Center. I didn't answer and no message was left. I don't answer calls from names and numbers I don't know. Will be blocking this number for sure.  Calls came from Sterling Heights/ Warren, Michigan.

My son answered this call to prank the caller.  Survey asked about global warming and renewable energy and how he felt about them.  Call lasted more than 15 minutes

Showed up in caller ID as "RESEARCH CENTER" and did not leave a message.

This is my third entry today.  I just got a call from this number.  By the way the add for AVG is worthless and misleading.  The call from this last number was late. When the Caller ID is the same as the phone # reflected, it is a scam.  Who's responsible for providing our personal info? Phone companies, those that compile listings for marketing purposes? Banks? Places that we shop at?  We deserve the right to privacy and the right to say no to telemarketing, surveys, etc.  Please, I've been saying it for years.  Barnstorm your State Consurmer Agencies and local media with a demand for your right...

How do I stop getting calls from this number?

I called the number mentioned and got a menu that said select 8 to be removed from the list. Left a detailed message on the answering machine for Jesse. I expect that I might get a few more calls because even the do not call registry says "Most telemarketers will be required to stop calling you 31 days from your registration date." Assume that the same applies for being added to their do not call list. Hope it works.

Getting calls two or three times a day! Never leaves message or I answer it but wish they would move on!

I don't know who called...then 800 service called and they said a prisoner called and could not complete the call ... I have no one in jail.

They have called twice so far; I hear a tone and then a click after I say hello. I'm not answering the phone from them anymore. The caller ID says "Research Center."

I've been called everyday through my home phone, and i'm on the verge of calling the cops into tracking them. Next time they do that, it's BLOW HORN TIME!

This number calls repeatedly even on weekends while attempting to sleep from the night shift.  Very annoying and persistent.  Will try the DNC number listed above to see if that stops this irritation.

Caller ID read "Research" Traced call to Michigan. Did not pick up. No vmail left.

Call 208-232-1818 option 8 to be added to their own DNC list. I received the most recent annoying call (that was only beeps) at 9:05pm- not acceptable when you have sleeping little kids!! I called and left a message to be removed immediately- hope that will resolve this irritation.

I don't pay for the use of my phone to be called by an unidentified company, only to have no answer at the other end of the phone line.  My phone number is on the DO NOT CALL REGISTRY.  I guess you are not a telemarketer, but some researcher. Very annoyed with researchers, telemarketers, and agencies wanting my money.

Got a call at 9:14 pm AFTER telemarketing hours. This is illegal. Callerid said "Armada MI". Did not answer; they left no message.

Some phone company's have the new nomo robo, but not all as of yet.  There are other options you can check into in the nomo robo thread under forums as well. Or you can look into a call blocker, either device or phone for landlines. Devices hold more numbers then phones do though. Cell phones, some have apps already on them, others you can download a blocking app for.

I have been getting these random calls at least three times every day from morning until evening about a half an hour apart.  Quote Directly From Their Website:  "Mountain West Research Center is a data collection company that is contracted to administer surveys on behalf of third party research companies.  We do not sell products, solicit donations, or intentionally
frustrate potential survey participants."  THEY ALL PRETEND TO BE DOING A SURVEY.  AFTER 4 - 6 QUESTIONS THEY GET TO THE REAL REASON FOR THE CALL.

I didn't answer but reading other accounts they ask questions regarding personal and political affiliation I would not answer anyway... doesn't matter what the survey is about, if they ask political questions they're collecting political information for someone.. JMO

Calls but no msg.  I d  says Mich.

3 calls in last two days.  No one is on the line -- just a click and dead air.  My landline phone doesn't display caller ID so I keep answering.  Time for an updated phone.
