I've been getting calls from 586-630-3759 for about a week now at various times of the day.  The recording states "You have a collect call from Macomb County Jail from.....  Then a second voice, presumably a name recorded by a female caller speaks and says something mumbled like "Tina" or "T&L."  Then regular recording pipes back in and asks if I'll accept the charges, etc...
What's funny is:  The girl who recorded her name as "Tina" or "T&L" whatever she says, which I can't make out, even after 10 phone calls or more in the last week, it is the EXACT SAME RECORDING every time, which leads me to believe this is a scam.  

A friend mentioned it and an above poster states the same:  Accept the call and I'll have crazy fees on my phone bill.  I am even reluctant to press the "OPT OUT" number, for fear I'll still be charged, so I just keep ignoring the calls.

I'm getting the calls on my cell, which is a 586-770 AT&T exchange, if that helps further identify who's being targeted.

Thanks for info everyone. I DO know someone in Macomb County Jail. The best thing is for him to sit there and think about the mess he's made of his life and what to do to move forward in a positive way. Glad I didn't answer the phone.

I've been getting these for several months. At first, they were "collect." Now they are "at no charge to me." Last night, I received one that did not come through the automated system (there was no recording). I NEVER answer; always let my answering machine get it. Hopefully with no results they'll get tired of this and go away.

Got a collect call from this number.  I just hung up when I heard something about "collect" from Macomb Co jail

It is someone who is in jail trying to call you, new phone procedure for the inmates, by accepting the call they get approximately 40 seconds to talk, then if you press 5, they will get your infomration and the imates and call anytime and it will be billed to you, by pressing 9 it will block the calls from coming to your phone.

I also have been getting them....been blowing up my phone for 2 days.  Did finally answer and heard it was the Macomb County Jail....I didn't accept the call.  I'm glad I tried this.....Had no idea that it would be happening to other people as well.

Thanx Maree and Josh.  Your posts helped explain "something" to me.  I got a call from that number, but didn't answer, cuz I didn't recognize it.  Now I have an idea of who was calling me.  I'm glad I didn't answer!

Possibly an inmate 'one phone call', asking if I want to accept the call. I got called two nights in a row, must be a wrong number because I do not live in Macomb county or know anyone in Macomb county.
