Well, I got a timely response back from the registrar of meetupincanada.com (Internet.bs Corp.).

They suspended the domain! Great to see a registrar take quick action.

I received the message this morning - not sure how they are getting our numbers.

My husband is in ICU in hospital and got a text on a cell phone whose number had been given only to the Organ Transplant Team at the hospital. He was addressed as Eduardo.  Very upsetting that this would happen at this time.

The domain was registered about a week ago - how convenient.

Didn't check the hosting company, which could be the same or these clowns could be running it from a basement, but I asked the registrar to slap them on the wrist. Feel free to do the same - let's shut 'em down!

Seems to be a scam or the website clearly hacked or got hold of multipule numbers and is sending out messages. Most if heard they change the name and ask and say the same thing.

I was 100% Positiive it was a wrong number but according to everyone's posts here its not a wrong number, it's a scam.
