Repeated texts with no message (blank) from this number

"Here is the wild casual dating web site I mentioned to you at work Josh,  CANADAHOOKUPSNOW. COM, much simpler  than bars ;) Still need a lift later?"

That's the message I got from 5876460231. People are stupid.

ignore it.  I got the same.  It called me Jonathan which is not my name.  The person sending these needs a punch in the head for the exact reason you posted.  It could be damaging to a relationship.

He sent the exact thing to me but he cald me Stephen

My wife also receive this text, by a different number and different name. But was pretty much the same message. Is there some way that this person(s), can be found and stopped. I'm sure many people would like to have this stop!

Got a phone call from this number. The caller did not leave any message.

I got the same msg but it had my husband's name. How do they know. It might cost me my relationship.

Thank you for your post, it was very helpful.  I got the same message from 587 644 3587 on Sunday and I didn't know what to think.  I didn't realize that it was legal for this kind of advertising to come over our text messages.

I just got this last night, I'm a kid so I sent it to my mom to help out.

Got same msg as all of you but with my name how do they know my name? Hope something is done about this.

What is the point of sending a text this except to "troll" or be incredibly irritating, and what can be done about it?

I received the same text at 6AM this morning. What can be done about mass text spamming like this?
