I got the some call .I called the law office of Byron cave at 2125411120 .they said its all a scam.and make a report.

they silly a***s sent me a text message too saying something bout a simmons law firm and to return their called around ten-nish....im like you, if yall want to scam people yall need to do a little more studying on criminal lawsuits, cause you definitely dont handle those over the phone, and it definitely isnt handled in one day....When I called they answered sat, "yes, this is a law firm" I busted out laughing...like WHAT LAW FIRM!!!

Oh man! They had me good until the one guy says he's going to transfer the call and then coaches  the other guy on how to pronounce my name before he spoke to me. I just got this same call from a guy with a very heavy accent. Telling me that I have a criminal case against me that he needed my attorney's  information. I told him okay serve me what you have to and that this is a scam he said that the police will come to my house with a subpoena and a arrest warrant . I told him ok Ill be waiting. This is a scam how they get your information is amazing.

Just got a call from a forgein speaking guy and said that I had a lawsuit against me for a payday loan. I have never had a pay day loan.

I got 5 calls from them and finally decided to call back.
I said, "I got a call from this number."
he said, "savanah?"
I said, "yes"
It sound like a guy with an accent he said he was with a law firm and his client is filing a lawsuit against me cause I didnt pay a loan back.
He said, "can a representative give you a call back?"
I said, "no, cause youre the one saying I have a lawsuit so you can tell me whats up"

This is a scam. It's a call center in India that buys US phone numbers. CNN did a report a couple of years ago, at that time they had a bunch of CA numbers. The callers have heavy Indian accents but super Anglo names like John Smith. The thing is in America the criminal justice system isn't involved in debt collection. If you really owed money for some loan, yes they could sue you, in civil court. They could even bring charges of fraud, but their collection agency or lawyer (whatever these callers pretend to be) wouldn't call and threaten with a law suit or arrest, you would recieve a court summons or notice of a warrant at your legal address . The fact that they immediately start threatening but will take a payment is a dead giveaway, plus the fact that they get really angry when you question their accent or Anglo name - one cursed me out and called me a w***e because I said he didn't sound like a Sean Smith and asked where he was from.

I got a call saying I am being sued for a loan that wasn't re paid. All parties involved had an Indian accent. thay could't give me any info other than they were a law firm and I was being sued. I called the payday loan company they said they represented, they told me it was a scam.

This guy keeps calling me and saying I will be arrested If I don't pay the loan I took from them online but I never took a loan. Very very rude people! I am tired of this.

I just got a phone call from men he sound like he was reading off a card. Said that I owned 8,000.00 dollars because of a loan.  That if I didn't pay in the next 24one hours that the police would come to my place of business or my home and put me in jail to I paid all the money back.

Just received this call and he swore I was some Corey guy and that I was going to get arrested at my job in El Paso Texas but hung up when I Todd him I live in Las Vegas so that's impossible. Crazy a** people these days!!

they did the same thing to me, don't listen to them. it is a hacker that hacks into sites where someone applied for a payday loan and they know some of your information--just enough to scare you.

Some crazy foreign lady called couldn't understand anything she said hardly lmao, but get this her name was  Erica Wells?? I would think that Erica Wells would be an American name?? Anyways I returned the call some foreign man answers then proceeds to tell me that I took out a loan from US Funds and was deposited into my bank account, then US Funds went and tried to get the funds back out of my account, but the money was already gone?? I started laughing at this story as I for one have not applied for a loan with US Funds, and two, well I don't even have a banking,checking,savings account and I explained this to the little guy trying to speak some english... He then gets shockingly mad starts yelling that the police willl be serving me papers tomorrow plus they would take me to jail, he then asks me if I wanted him to start legal papers?? I replied why hell yes I do want you to start those damn papers & send the police to my house & put me in jail because I will be waiting right here for them! He then hung up on me... I just got the same call! He's saying there's a warrant out for me and I've stolen money or something. And I was like, I just opened a bank account I'm sure there was a warrant I wouldn't be able to do that.
