i received a call from this number and it was disconnected was real curious @ the fact i received a call that time of morning from a non working number

i received 2 calls from this #.  this guy knew the last 4 numbers of my social security # and he wanted me to give him the rest or it.  said that someone was comming to arrest me tomorrow.  i called the state police and the trooper said that is sounds like some one is trying to steal my name.  he tole me to call the attorney General's office = pennsylvania # 800-441-2555

Yes - I receieved a call from this number as well - returned the call and received a "disconnected" message - but clearly is NOT a disconnected number.  I will report this to the "Do Not Call" folks as well.  I recommend others to do the same.

I received a call from this number just a few minutes ago. I didn't catch the call in time, so I called it right back. Intersting that the number was disconnected right when I called it back.

I just received a call from 601-429-9008.  I have recently received a bunch of calls from suspicious.  These calls are very annoying and they call almost everyday.  I have also received a caller from phone number 1 as well.  I wanted to report this.

The phone number 601-429-9008 is used by call spoofing programs. If someone doesn't want their real phone number showing up on a caller ID, there's services they can use to show a fake phone number on the caller ID. The actual number that's showing up on caller IDs (601)429-9008 is really a disconnected number. A lot of bill collection agencies, research companies and scammers use these services to try and get you to answer the phone. They know if their real number showed up (like an 800 number) that the consumer wouldn't asnwer the phone. Multiple companies can use the same call spoofing phone number. I hope this info helps!

I got a call from this number this morning and no one was on the line.  Looked up the number on reverse lookup and the number shows as a landline in Vicksburg, MS.  Checked the number via Google and found that it a scam line being used to promote several scams and frauds.

I got this call today and decided to answer the phone (which I usually don't do with unknown numbers). It was a survey research company called Marketing Research Services. The guy completed a short (less than 10 minute) survey about where I purchase prescriptions and had me rate the pharmacies on several attributes on a 1-10 scale. Research is an integral part of how companies conduct business. They want to make sure the customer is happy and increase their sales. If you don't want to participate in the survey answer the phone and tell them that. Most call centers have only outbound calling, which would make you unable to call that particular number back and reach someone. It is just a dialer that calls your phone. I know because I too work for a research company. It's not a scam. It's only a scam if they ask for money, credit card information, or social security numbers. On survey calls, you can refuse to answer any question you don't wish to answer too.

I googled the company name and got information on this particular company, if you're interested you could do the same.

i got a phone call from this number. when i called back, the message said this number is disconnected... weird!

I get calls from 91192 every week, they have poor english skills and want a credit card number, the company name is US Pharm,or other names  not sure how they got my unlisted cell DNC list number I have filed a complaint with law enforcement.

I looked this number up on the internet it came Pizza Hut in MN.. I called this number same thing nonworking number. A real bummer it could been Micheal Jackson.

They keep calling me and leave threatening messages for Michael, who is not me.  The guy has a thick accent and tells me that i need to have my attorney call him back at 858-248-4817.  If I dont all he can do "is wish me good luck".

I just received two calls from this number within 10 minutes.  Both times the caller caller hung up quickly.  I wouldn't have answered it anyway since I did not recognize the number. There are scams out there and I have reported many of them to the government via the "Do Not Call" site.  This one is going to be added to the that list as well.  The week after I reported these numbers the number of calls I received daily was reduced, but somehow they still continue, usually showing up in called ID as 91192, or a variation thereof. I don't understand why they haven't been shut down yet.

I Got a call today and a recorded voice told me i better have a good reason for downloading copy protected music over 30 times. Then told me to leave a reason for doing so, if i didn't leave a good enough reason they would prosecute.The anount of fines could be 60,000.00 dollars I didn't leave a message and hung up. I called the # back and got a disconnected message.I then did a reverse # search and got this info. It's a land lne in Vicksburg MS. It also gave me the Google Earth Location. (32.3400  -90.800) Tomorrow Im going to report this # to phone company and our city attorney.

This number calls my cell phone always when i have it on silet  ( at work etc.)  i am waiting for them to call when i see this number so i can answer. so far that hasnt happened. dying to know who it is. when i call the number it says number is disconnected.  what the???? how can it be disconnected when its calling me? its quite annoying

im N GEORGIA an I just recieved this call from a 601 number I dont have enough minutes on my phone to answer it so i didnt. thinking it may be a JOB i tryed to look up the number and now i am leaving a comment like everyone else! I hope Im being haunted by the ghost of broke M*****F*****S and It scares me into getting a job.

i have been receicing calls all day and no one answers me... i am sure is just some some more bs but what ever... if they think calling me and hanging up is gonna get what they want oh well try nd try again.. i just answer turn speaker phone on and set phone down and wlak away..bah ha ha oh i have a ohio based so they are working their way all over..

I got a call from  1-601-429-9008. I'm on the DNC list. I answered and a male voice said "Hello, how are you today ?"..then it hung up.

This number just called me ... claimed to be local college my son attends ... then asked me to confirm my address ... then he hung up on me when I said "yes" to the address he (bad accent) read.... As you all know it was a disconnect # when I tried to call back.

My son gets 10 phone calls from this number a day trying to sell him prescription medication.  He is only 13 years old.  I have had conversation after conversation trying to explain to this indian man that my son is not interested and for him to please stop calling.  Tonight he said that my son is dying and needs his medicine and that he was my son's doctor.  I told him that he is a terrible man and that my son is fine and he is in front of me and you are not his doctor.  The man responded "your son is going to die and it will be your fault".  I felt like he was a terrorist.  I am going to notify the authorities.

Actually now that I think about it my brother does have some debt. Maybe its possible it is a collection agency and the guy just got us confused?

I got a call from this number. It was some guy with a indian accent saying I owed money for a cash advancement that I didn't payback. This has to be a scam. Said I could send him $300 and that would square it away. He could not give me any information about it or myself other then I owed the money. Was weird though. He knew my name and my brothers aswell.

hey it's ur boyfriend, hello it's ur boyfriend. i was sleeping @12pm this person called not the first several times unknown then seconds later this #6014299008 showed when i called, it's says line disconected. then i called back and it send me 2 voicemail and was a mail voice. please stop this kind of inappropriate behavor.
