Yep had the same thing happen to me. Wanted me to cash money order and send his shipper the extra. Said he was from New York but was calling from the 601 zip. Someone must be falling for it or he wouldn't do it. :(

He has another number he is using, 443-457-8341. He texted my phone and asked me to reply to him via email, which I did. I knew it was some sort of a scam when he emailed me back wanting me to cash his money order and ship him the puppy.

Hey, he sent the same texts to me, about a puppy I listed for sale, the poor dear Kevin! I asked him to call me, he replied he was deaf. I asked him to get a friend to call me, and haven't heard from him since.
Poor guy, running a lousy scam like that, and deaf, too!

I also got a text from this person about an ad I had for puppies for sale. They asked to respond by email which I did. Then they asked or all my info to send a money order and he was going to ship the puppy please don't fall for this.
