Got the same number on my home and cell number today.  Ended up being lab results from my son's appointment at UMC Pediatric Gastro.

I answered..it was a lab calling back with test results for my doctor

They called my landline phone at 6am today (which is a Sunday). When you reverse look up the number it is a state of MS building off of High St in Jackson MS.. I know noone is working in that building on Sunday at that time.. SO I'm thinking they must have other lines in other locations open to the public or something. And like everyone says - if you call back you get busy signal!

This number is busy when you call back because it is a clerk line who is calling to remind patient's of their appointments, etc. They called me today to remind me of my son's appointment at Blair E. Batson's Children's Cancer Clinic in the morning. I only found this thread because I googled the phone number before I had a chance to listen to the voicemail since I am at work...If you missed a call from this number then you probably have an appt at UMC or the billing dep't etc. is trying to contact you.

UMC School of Dentistry calls from this number for appointment reminders.

This number called me today (3/5/2013), said her name and who she was with (mumbled),  and asked me for my grandson's Medicaid number!  I wouldn't give it to her and told her to call my daughter.  They tried calling my daughter, but she missed the call.  When she tried to call back---just got a busy signal.  My daughter called her pediatrician's office and told them about this and they said it sounded fishy and to NOT give out that Medicaid number!  The State of Mississippi should already HAVE that Medicaid number so this is a fraudulant call!

 i will call AG also, I've got the time since I am unemployed. Shoot we pay their salaries I'm sure, so they should have the courtesy to answer their phone if they r going to bother us.

this 6015762501 called my phone and when I returned the called it constantly busy, something need to be done about this. I am personal gonna call the AG office and report this number.

I received a call from this number and the caller asked  who she was speaking with and asked if I worked inside the hospital, presuming one of the state hospitals?  Seemed to be just a wrong number.

601-576-2501 called me on 11/16/2012 at 3:06 PM.  I do not know who it was or what it was about.

The number is the Poison Control Center in Jackson, MS

It is a fax machine number. I get random calls from the state is ms and let my fax answer today. It is medical information being faxed. I called UMMC because it is their records being sent. They just said they would contact the Dr and let them know. An hour or so later, the number tried calling again. I just hung up on it.

They called, left no message...tried to call back no answer b/c of busy signal....

This is University Medical Center.  I just got a call from their nurse recruiter in response to an application I filled out.

I believe this is the number that pops up when I get calls from the Mississippi DHS Child Support Enforcement agency.  Sometimes this line shows up while at other times it will be an 800 number.  The child support office is located in the same building as other MS DHS agencies so this number is more than likely a number from the states main calling system.  The Department of Economic Assistance is also located in the same building so it could be a case workers trying to update information for food stamp recipients, TANF and the like.  It is highly unlikely you will get anyone to answer this line.  If you are needing to talk to someone concerning such matters, you'll have to call the customer service numbers found on the state website -  http://www.mdhs.state.ms.us/

i got a call from this number 6015762501. try doing different research on this number and i called one place and they say is a trunk line and wait for that person to call you back. if they dont then dont worry about that number. i tried calling it back and got a busy signal.

It is utterly amazing at all the cocklemania ideas people have about this # and probably untold other things in their lives. Some people display their ignoramously low IQ every time they open their mouths!

It is the Woolfolk building, not street.  State occupants include the Dept of finance and Admin,, Banking and Consumer Finance, Real Property Management, and a whole bunch more.

If you know of a state agency that may be trying to contact you, get their direct number.  This is the number that shows for _every_ call made from the building.
