i get calls from this number.  no message.

I believe they're a Book CLub of some sort. The ID reads as B Read and they have called multiple times. One time they called about some book club I joined a looooong time ago (5 years ago?) and had quit being a member of, but they were offering me a deal to restart my membership -_-

Just received a call from this number on my cell phone. no message but thought this was an odd call because the area code was very unfamiliar. Judging by the other comments I'm glad I didn't waste my time answering. If they call again I'll just block the number.

why do they call and not say anything???  drives me nuts!  I wouldn't buy from them now if they paid me!

This number has been calling my direct line at work in the evenings for the last 2 weeks - even on weekends!  Every morning I come into work and listen to hang up calls on my VM.  There is no message.  I have no idea how they got a business number for this ridiculous book club thing.

Really, to call at 10:45 on a Sunday morning is no way to make me think about joining your stupid book club.

Double Day Book Club.

Called this morning,Sunday, at 10:30am.  The caller ID said "Private Name".  I didn't answer it; they didn't leave a message.  Any idea on who it is?

The callers  said he is from Doubleday Books with a special offer and will be sending me 3 free books.......I hung up and immediately e-mailed Doubleday to ask (for the second time) to have my number removed from their calling list.  They assured me before that it had been removed.

This number calls my phone several times a day and nearly every day.  I have been on the no call list since it started and renew it when necessary.  These people are a royal pain in the neck.  Wish we could get rid of them  Have they nothing els to do?

With caller ID, normally I will not answer if the number is not one I recognize. For me this is an out of state call originating in Phoenix, AZ.  While I know a few people there, we do not call.  Thanks for the information on who is calling.

Getting numerous calls throughout day. Shows up as Private Name. Never leaves message. Reporting to Do Not Call.

This number keeps caling and my husband answered, they ask for me , when he ask then what they wanted they hung up.

Last October, I told these criminal morons to take me off their list, IMMEDIATELY! Well, for six months it worked, now they are back with a vengeance! What does it do any good to be on the National DO NOT CALL LIST when these jerks call you anyway all hours or the day and night. Additionally, they are always hanging up just when you get to the phone so I never get to blast them with the boat siren!

All we ever get on the caller ID is "private caller". Well you call back and option 3 says they will take you off their list after 30 days if you just give them your complete name and number. I will never give ANYTHING to "private caller". Who knows what lists you would end up on? There are enough criminal enterprises calling already that are ignoring the government DO NOT CALL list, we certainly do not want to add to another list.

We are sick of it. Debt elimination, IRS scams, phony grants, and we have had our numbers on the DO NOT CALL list for five years and they are still active. It just goes to show you the National DO NOT CALL list is nothing more than a FIRST CLASS WASTE OF TIME! The government does NOTHING to put these b*****ds out of business!

I am filing complaints on the DNC registry every time these morons call, but I have no expectation of anything happening!

Yep, I have been getting these calls as well.  I own a Panasonic phone that blocks their calls.  I have blocked these jerks call.  I go to bed early and they keep calling.

Calls received from this number daily and I do not answer, they leave no message.  I did finally answer today (to blast them, ha!)......it is a book club, and I quickly told the lady to take us off the call list, that I do not purchase anything by phone.  She proceeded to do her "script" anyway, I hung up on her.  Called the # back, chose option #3 to be placed on their 'do not call list' and did actually get through.  Recording asked for the number and my name, said it would take up to 30 days to remove.  The recording also suggested I place my phone number on the national/federal (whatever) do-not-call list, which I did well over 2 yrs ago.  I've made note of this date, their number, etc - and if I get a call past 30 days from today, I will be reporting them.  Hope that helps someone.

Received this call at 8:53 PM on Thursday evening. I have been on the do not call list from the beginning but am ready to go to a "throw away" cell phone and ONLY giving my number to family. This is terrible how so called businesses can make all these calls. PS: After 3 rings I answered it and there was no one there!!!

I get a call from 602-246-2109 and the foreign-sounding woman says immediately  "Sorry, I got the wrong number.".  She sounds like she's practiced the line over and over.
