I just got a call from a lady who SAID she was transferring an AT&T text message to our number.  I never heard of such a thing.  The message took a long time before there was any typing, allegedly, on her end.  The message related to Craig's List items I'd offered for sale 27 months ago, as DC area was awaiting a blizzard to start that day.  Said if the items are still for sale to send an e-mail to pws5500@aol.com.

At that time, potential buyer accepted offered price with no haggling and said they would send a courier to my home with a cashier's check with extra money to buy "something else in my city."  Our town is so small we don't even have a post office.  We were to cash the check and give the change to the courier.  We did not reply to that last e-mail.  Figured it was a scam.  I never had a phone number, but some of messages came from spencerkimball45@gmail.com.

Just got a call from this number. I answered and heard a male voice mumble briefly on the other end. Then he hung up on me!

Just got a call from this number even though I'm on the do not call list. Very annoying as I got a call from this number sometime last week.

Just got a call but didn't pick up. I highly dislike scammers who try to waste people's valuable time.

I am on the DO-NOT-CALL LIST.  Can you block this call from coming to us again.

Thanks, Mijnil - however, I think they are also using a dialer system as I never did anything (knowingly) with any of the companies you mentioned, so don't think that's where they got my cell number.  I REALLY appreciate your tenacity in getting the information out.  It really helps.

 They are a creditor and debt service. They are trying to find investors to help finance people who need debt consolidation. However, the person I actually got talk to was very pushy and would not give required requested information about the company. I then looked them up on the internet and found them with the above info.
  After further research, I found out that there is alot of scamming going on in the company. Like...
      Trying to have investors put up $20,000-$50,000 and use it like a shell game or pansy scheme.
      Charges an upfront $275.00 fee that is none refundable of both ends.
      Uses fund to setup debt settlements claims for those needing consolidation and help.
      Also charges the $275.00 to these people
      Claims to use the BBB reports as 'proof of good business practice' but not approved by BBB.
      Debt claims seldom resolved, but stretched out to over two years with servicing fees added.

They are part of the Merchant Seahawk Strategy, LLC, which is a business recovery kit that was sold.

There is also a possiblility of a class action lawsuit coming against this company. For they are claiming that if I invest, I could get up to 25% increase of my investment, returned from funds that were funded. This just sound to much to be true.

 OK, found out what a business recovery kit is. A DIY packaging product that has all matching documents to make any business look official. Found on the internet under 'Corporate recovery kits'.

I called the above Customer Service number and went through a board...1 to voicemail, 2 to agent. Got an agent and asked them to remove me  from the call list.

I did find out that the business kits are available through STORESONLINE, which we had an account with for a short time. So this may be the source of the call list.

Got another call today! I'm on the do not call list as well. Tried calling the number back and was unable to get through. No message left again!
