I got a call from this number and when I returned the call it say's "All circuits are busy"

at 2:12 a.m. on 11/22 we received a call from my husband's brother in Israel.  The odd thing about the call is that caller ID showed the phone call was from Broadvox Phoenix, at phone number 602-283-1742.  Calls from Israel usually come in as Unknown and don't show a number.

A guy with a very heavy accent called about 5 minutes after I put up a craiglist posting.  He asked for the owner of the phone # and if I was located in the northwest valley.  Something about a hotel that just opened in phoenix.  I told him I was unemployed and not interested in a timeshare.  He instisted it was not a sales call.  Kinda pushy, but he eventually took no forr an answer

Someone used this number to call and ask personal questions about my business?  When I phoned it back it said all circuits are busy.

I know this dude his name is stephen and he's the love of my and he's been trying to get a hold of my number and i'm sorry for those whom got the phone calls.  He's in the Army and he's shipped in Iraq and it's hard for them to find the right number so they have to go through alot of other numbers to find the right one.

Yeah, I also got a call from this number when someone was trying to call me from Israel. Weird.

This number has called on more than one occasion, disturbing a patient I am taking care of, I would like it to stop.

This number, 602-283-1742, called me back to back 3 times and just hung up each time I answered.  Did not and will not call them back, added them to my block list along with all other unknowns....

A man with an Indian accent called at 5:50pm, saying he was from an Internet pharmacy and they were doing a special for the holidays.  He then rattled off a list of prescription drugs (including Xanax and a few others) and said he could get me whatever I needed.

Dealing drugs from India via VOIP-based telemarketing.  Got to love a connected global economy in the age of technology.

Called me on Sunday morning at 9am. Since I didn't recognize number, I didn't answer. Since, I've tried to call back numerous times (as I was hoping for a chance to annoy them as much as they annoy me), but keep getting recording, "We're sorry, your call did not go through. Will you please try your call again?"

Like wise, I have been receiving calls from the same number for over a month now. I generally ignore them, but the one time I did answer, it was dead air... Can't wait for their call tomorrow! It's been every day since they got my number... ugh.

I received a 'dead air' call from this number at 12:55 p.m. I'm also paying my phone company to have 'UNWANTED CALLS BLOCKED' and am STILL receiving 'UNKNOWN CALLER' and 'UNAVAILABLE' calls!

I get calls from this numbers during inappropriate times for solicitors.  I AM on the do not call list, which seems to be irrelevant.  I consider the calls harassment and would like them to stop.

Call telling me I made a hand written application to them (just them, no company name) and they gave me a wrong address.... so they must be fishing

The phone number 602-283-1742 is a hard-coded number into a PBX softswitch in Phoenix Arizona. Many Voice over IP (VoIP/Internet Phone) providers use Broadvox as one of their carriers. The issue with this is, if the caller doesn't send a valid Caller ID, it'll default to the switch number.

This company hides their phone numbers behind fake caller ID numbers.  They are trying to gather as much information about you as possible, who knows what for.  They will tell you that they want to buy services and their CEO will call in a few days.  It is a lie, I don’t know what they want but that is not it.  I found a working number for them 248-686-1991

I Got a call from this # at my place of employment from a male with broken up englsih  he is bacically harrasing my company calling back to back demanding that he spke with me i spke with him last week and request tht i speak with someone with better english he refuse to put a manger on the line he stated tht i was being sued by a bank and tht i need to pay 2100 bucks told him to send me valadation of debt he flat out refuse .....

This number keeps calling me and hanging up.  When I call it back it rings fast busy.

I got a call from this number..as the number was not in my contact list...just made a search in google...and came here...earlier had a similar problem with a different number...total blank calls...from 301 392 8181..then i added my number in natonal donotcall registry and i dont get blank calls now.

You know, the DO NOT CALL LIST means nothing, I get calls a couple times a day from various companies.  Got one today from this Broadvox, asking for someone by name, told them they had a wrong number, they asked if this was my number and I restated they had a wrong number.

I am so frustrated that I pay for my phone and these people are allowed to call me.  They should be charged for all calls they make.

Agreed.  My boss called me from LA just now using a VOIP line.  I live in Phx area and this is the number that showed up on my caller id.

I would suspect telemarketers are using VOIP lines also, makes moving the operation very easy.

The caller said they represented a collection agency for Columbia House BMG.  It is a scam!!
