Have called numerous times, all about how my warrenty is about to expire...
I have pressed the #2 to get taken off the list, they don't know what autos you own, they are trying to find out, so they can sell you an extended warrenty...bunch of crap

The 602-325-4975 number is a SCAM. If you don't pick up they will leave you a message with their "so-called web-site address" which is also a SCAM! I didn't even try the site after I saw that there were a LOT of warnings about it.
I just re-applied to the Do Not Call Registry. You original application expires in 5 years. Unfortunately it takes a month or 2 to go into effect.
Another reason not to give out your phone number when you fill some retail store applications etc.
GOOD LUCK, and if you have Caller ID, just don't pick up.

Reported that my vehicle had a recall. When someone finally came on they didn't even know my vehicle type. I told them why would I give you my vehicle information when I can call the dealership. I than told them to quit lying about a recall and they hung up on me.

I just received a call from these idiots. I was on hold for awhile after pressing 1. The person who finally came on asked my vehicle type. I lied with a dumb voice and said an '88 Pacer. He said his vehicle records only go back as far as '98 so he would remove my number so they won't call me any more because they can't help me (i.e. sell me something). Oh well. :)

Got a recorded call that said my car has a recall. I waiting on the line and got a call taker who identified the company as the "Vehicle Notification Center." She said they had recall and service notice info on my car, but needed to know what the car was. I told her if they knew I had recalls or notices, they must know my car or they are lying. When I asked,, she gave me 602-25-4975 as their callback number. It turned out to be a solicitation to go to the "Recall Notification Center" www.recallheadquarters.com website. More of the same nonsense.

Note: If you are not yet signed up for the National Do Not Call Registry you can go here: https://www.donotcall.gov/ Called to advise me of any vehicle recall notices on my vehicle (of which there weren't) Had to ask me what vehicle I owned and mileage to look up the recall information. Proceeded to try signing me up for an extended warranty, even though my vehicle is already out of warranty. I asked to be taken off of their calling list. I have been on the National Do Not Call list since 2007

I just received at least 5 or 6 of these calls back to back. Since I live on my laptop I instantly put the number into Google and found this site. Thanks for the info, I didn't even bother picking up. Hopefully this doesn't continue throughout the afternoon.

Do not call rules do not apply to companies which you do business with. This could be the manufacturer of your car or the dealer that services it.

I just got this call today. The message states that I have outstanding recalls against my vehicle and to press 1 for more information. Knowing it was a telemarketer, I pressed 1 to see what would happen. After about 10 seconds of music, I got a human. She asked for the VIN of my vehicle. I asked her why she didn't know that already, if the system knows that I have outstanding recalls. She told me that if I had let the recording go on, it would have told me to have the information available. I asked to have my phone number removed and she hung up on me, before I could finish talking.
I've got viatalk, so I am adding them to my blocked numbers list. I am also reporting it to the DNC registry.

Must be a conection...recently took Ford Ranger to Dealer for some silly recall.and then the calls started....by the way the Ranger is a 2001 model. After recall problem was corrected it started making a loud engine noise and is now at a local mechanic shop...oh well..
| Tim 2009-01-29 20:00:26 Unknown |
Recording Saying: The maufacturer of your vehicle has issued a recall...Press 1 for more information... You press 1, and it keeps you on the line for about 5-10 seconds, then disconnects the call.
