i was a victim of thos too .they took all my information .they chareged me 1895.00 dollars and they sent me a packet .when i sent it to the mortage company .It was a fake .I tried to call them back and the telephone numbers donot exist anymore .who do we go to to find there people who are taking advantage of people like us.

Brandwyine Professional Services has one of their "processors' take your personal information over the phone and it does include your social security number, your date of birth, phone number, banking numbers.  My social was sent out of state and someone called me telling me my social was under their bank name. It's either a huge mistake or they're conducting a huge telemarketing SCAM.  BE WARY; DON'T GIVE OUT INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE.

You are right on when you say this is a scam. The HUD program advised me specifically that anyone who attempts or takes your money to remodify your home mortgage is a SCAMMER.   This information came from the government Hope program.  People are having a hard enough time right now trying to make their mortgage payments and no one needs any more stress from scammers.   If you get a robo number calling you after you inquired as to refinancing your home and they say it's a home modification program, don't fall for it.  Try calling the number back, and you won't get anyone on the line.  I HOPE THIS HELPS EVERYONE OUT THERE WHO THINKS A MODIFICATION COMPANY WILL HELP THEM GET THEIR MORTGAGE INTEREST REDUCED TO 2%. DEAL WITH THE BANK ONLY OR GET AN ATTORNEY.

What these people do is they take your credit card information, social security, address, bank numbers and they counsel you on the phone and they refer you to their "processing person," who will put the credit card through.  After that they have your money, and you receive a packet in the mail with other people's information co-mingled.  You may even get a phone call from one of these victims who says they have your social security number.  Also, they use robo numbers that you can't call back referring to President Obama's modification program.  Moreover, you never get your modification and you lose your money.  This activity needs to STOP IMMEDIATELY.  GAME OVER

I was also called by this company. I am an insurance underwriter and I am now working with Brandywine as they utilize professional mortgage underwriters to help assist homeowners to navigate HAMP modifications. They do not take personal information over the phone. The most personal information that I was asked to volunteer was my income, my monthly mortgage payment and interest rate.

Some industries are not required by law to adhere to the national DNC but companies are required to remove you once you make a request. I would suggest doing this with them next time they call. It is tough to "clone" anyone's identity without their social security number. Also, this company doesn't refinance loans. They work with you and your lender to help you to get your interest rate reduced. If you are having problems, I suggest you try to work with them, if not ask to be removed from the data base they are using for advertizing.

Something to keep in mind: the Do Not Call list is a creation of the Federal government. Therefore, by definition, it doesn't work like advertised. It's actually useless, kind of like the Federal government itself. You can scream all you want, but the Feds aren't going to help you. They never prosecute any violators.

I asked for a mortgage modification in 01/2012. Took a while, but I got one. Somewhere along the process, my servicer sold my phone number to every crook on Earth. I'm just waiting for verification that my mod is now permanent, then I'm changing my phone number. And only my closest blood relatives will know about it.

i have repeated asked this number not to call, and have my phone registered on the do not call list. help.

Redialed 602-389-3889 and was told it was not in service.....why did i waste my time with the do not call list??

I received a phone call again on my cell phone from 602-389-3889.  It was for rebates on mortgages.  I stayed on the line and asked them why they keep calling.  Well, we are offering.......I cut him off.  I asked him if he has a list of people on the No Call Register.  He said we don't ask for one.  I said I think you should or face a mega fine.  He supposedly took my # of the list.  We'll see!

I keep getting calls from this number and it says it is the new Obama program for reducuing your mortgage. I have gone thru it with them but I own a modular home on my own land so I can not get a reduced mortgage. Mobile, modular & pre-fab homes are not allowed. So I said thank you and hung up. Then I kept getting the call a few times a day & kept opting out. But they don't stop, so now I press 1 to get a live person let them know I am on the do not call list, they do not allow my type of home, tell them I have opted out and then just scream as loud as I can. I now get a kick out of it and I am sure they are too! Life is to short to let these companies get to you. Get them back like I do it sure does make you feel better when you hang up on them :-}

I have reported this number the do not call folks along with many others.  I have tried so hard to be responsible and report these calls & purchased apps to block these calls that invade my home and disrupt my dinner with my family.  I feel so disempowered for they have so many numbers they hide behind.  Is there no other way to end this mummy bunch of low lifes?
