They call several times a day but do not leave a message.  Not sure who they are.

I just don't answer but they have called me as early as 7am and as late as midnight... That is total BS!

this number calls my house multiple times a day...I have gotten where, one I dont answer and two, I keep my phone on mute..I tried talking to them a couple of times..they are trying to collect on student loans I'm in the process of dissolving due to being 100% handicapped. The first time they said they could help me and would send me paper work to help get it dissolved...thank God I read all of the paper work that came...they had a paper that gave them access to my bank account and another saying I agreed to pay almost $600 a month...now how is this helping..when I have no income and can't work....DON'T TRUST THESE PEOPLE they will say anything...My second encounter with them...I tried to explain the situation again...told them I would not give them phone numbers of people I knew and would not sign anything with them per my attorneys advice...the woman said well let me talk to my supervisor..who instantly got on the phone...he then said to me...as I refuse to pay they would go after my family and friends...and would go after my husband....as I told the guy my loans were incurred prior to my marriage ...he can not touch my husband or my family...I then hung up...Now I refuse to talk to them...I immediatly call my attorney who took their name and number...lets see what he can do...you can not threaten me or anyone I know...

I am house/pet sitting while my friend is in the hospital and I answer the phone when it rings. A woman asked if she was speaking with my friend, I asked her to identify herself and she gave a first name and immediately asked for my friends SS#. Excuse me???? I told her I could not give that info and hung up. She called right back, this time irritated, called me by my friend's name, obviously thinking I was her.  I asked her the same question, to identify herself and to state her business. She said,  "Like I told you, it's Sarah something and it's regarding a personal business matter."  Once again asked for my friends SS#. I told her she gave me no real info about herself or the reason for the call and was asking very personal information that I could not and would not give her anyway. She began to get a bit huffy, I think they train these people to be aggressive and to try to be intimidating. Didn't work. I hung up. She will probably call again before I get a chance to post this.  They would get a lot further along with people if they toned things down. Who wants to talk to a jerk? She also interrupted me with her 'spiel' so she missed the chance to hear me tell her I was house sitting and I could pass on a message. My friend thinks it's a debt collector on a private student loan. The posts here state it is Progressive Financial Services, which is a debt collector in Arizona.

Hey everyone, if you have a smartphone install Mr Number which is free.  You can set it up to block certain numbers, and even by an area code or whole prefix if you want.   It is what I use and it just hangs up on them as soon as they call you.  It works great.  I've been using it for several years now, and all I have to do is just add them to my list.  Take care

to the guy claiming he is being ''gang stalked'' by some random people... no dude, even when you change your phone number on a contracted cell phone account, your number attached to your social security number is given to all to see. Especially if you have AT&T, Tmobile, Sprint,etc. As soon as you use your social for a new contract account, it goes and can be seen by private businesses trying to collect debts from you (and your social security). These guys are low end, clueless bill collectors and I will never answer their call so they are wasting their time by buying outdated private loans which now have little to no value because the people will never pay or have a job to pay the loan. Waste of time calling me LOL.

They are debt collectors. They aren't ALL annoying. They represent old debts, student loans from banks and the state of AZ dept of revenue (overdue state taxes) as far as I know from personal interaction with them. Sucks but they really don't give up easily.

This number keeps calling my work phone. When I answer no one says anything and now that I don't answer they won't leave message.

Keep calling me I do not have Progressive Ins nor do I want it I am on the do not call list and I will report if they dont stop calling me.

I been recieving alot of calls from this number which i never answer. But i get about 5 calls a day. first there was no message left. Got one message left on my voice mail it was some girl and this what her message was " Hey(my name) John sexy and he knows it". Im like really!!!! i asked myself thats what all this harrasment is for? I dont give a s*** if John sexy. I want some advise on how i can sue these people. Any advise anyone?

Extremely rude, ignorant and a complete idiot.  They called asking for someone who doesn't work here and when I kept telling her there was no one here by that name, she would keep talking over me and repeating, "Is so-n-so there?"  I kept having to tell her no, there wasn't anyone here by that name.  She then asked to speak to human resources and I had to tell her no, I wasn't going to transfer her to HR when there isn't anyone here by that name.  She would keep talking over me asking for a manager or HR.  I finally asked her if she was hearing me and she said, "I don't think you're hearing me, can I talk to a manager?"  I said no, she had the wrong number and I hung up on the rude, horrid "person".  She never did identify who she was but wanted employment verification.

I can't get this number to stop phoning

This number phones all the time and now has started phoning my work looking for womeone who is not at my number or my work number.  I don't know who they are and am very leery of them as they reference someone I don't know.  How can I stop them?

I get calls from this number all day from morning unitl evening on my cell phone.  I have called ID and can now choose not to answer.  My cell phone is work issued and so of course my outgoing msg has my name and the co I work for and now they are calling all day long at my work.  I don't know what to do to make them stop calling.  THe law states they cannot call your work once you tell them your employeer does not allow it.  They do not care.  THey call anyway.  UUUURRRGGG.

These people keep calling regarding someone who had this number before me.  They think I am hiding this person or something.  I've had this phone number for over two years now and still get calls several times a week asking for some guy I don't know.  Che st****o!

These people called today - did not leave a complete message.  I called them back at 1-866-484-0204.  They were looking for someone who had my phone number over 4 years ago.  They said they would remove my number from their list.  We will see.

I got a similar call asking me for my social I said are you crazy I'm not ever giving that info out if you own an Android or iPhone there are about 100 apps that record entire conversations and them turn them over to the attorney generals office and let them take it from there because asking that kind of info and them if you can get them pissed off enough to say or do something illegal prosecute and sue!

Talk about a nuisance.  I just got this iPhone for Christmas and don't have the voicemail set up and they've been calling 5x a day.  I called the number someone gave above with x3232.  I got a different, very nice guy.  I couldn't give him the name of who they were trying to reach and he couldn't find my ph# in their system but the next time they call, they can leave a message and he said to call back with the info.  Thanks to losing three jobs in one year (2008) and having to declare bankruptcy, I have no debt whatsoever so I don't know what they want.

They are calling a place of business and have been asked to remove number numerous times, very rude and cut you off when speaking to them.
