I don't know why I bothered to answer this text, it's always a scam if the number is of an out of state ( where you currently reside ) area code. Especially when dealing with Craigslist.

Craigslist Spammer. Will text you about something you are selling and say he is going to send you a check and a "mover to pick up your item when the check clears your bank. The Problem is... the check is fake or stolen and he will write it for way over the amount and ask you to send the rest back to him... Very old scam... dont fall for it.

got a text from the same # interested in some rims I am selling. Said he will send a check if i gave him my address. He then said he was sending a "mover" to come get the wheels. Claims he is from sacramento CA. This Scam is Very old... they send you a money order for over the amount you are asking and want you to send the rest back.

Craislist spammer

I recently listed a laptop of mine that I'm selling on craigslist and this guy replied, texting. Pretty sure he's a craigslist scammer.

Guy had a polaris side x side on Craigslist listed super cheap in ny state with this Arizona # listed and to txt only  I contacted the # with in minutes of the ad being listed and his reply was very strange. I also told him I'd b there right away to buy it and no reply   ...I flagged his post
