This number called my cell phone with only the number on the screen and when I answered there was dead air.

5:14PM yesterday, didn't answer it.

Got a call today too, also in Vancouver - had a similar one a few days ago.

Then at 4am I am woken up by a guy screaming at me that my number (and it was my number) had just woken up his entire household.

GAH. Seems like more than just a scam, looks like I'll have to change the number...

Just got a call in Vancouver. On Rogers Wireless Provider.

I was luck that I didn't pick up the call.

People should find out who and how they got our numbers, and fight back to these stupid calls!!!

Just got a call from this number on my cellphone but didn't pick up. It did leave a me a message that went "beep beep....beep beep..." for a couple of minutes, though.

I was eating my lunch at work when suddenly my phone rings with the caller id displaying "+16027878989". I was like "What?" and I was certain I didn't know anyone with that number, so I Googled it like any other guy and found these comments. Glad I didn't pick up!

saqme thing, 1:34 pm in canada "you are a preferred rogers costumer and have won a prize, press one to accept" or something like that...i didn't. something needs to be done about this stuff.

vancouver island, said I was a preferred rogers customer and to press 1.  I did, I don't get much spam on my phone, and I got put on hold. Now I'm worried.  Are they going to use my number.

I received a call three minutes ago asking me to put 1. I put and immediately i hang up. I hope to be safe

This number just called me, I'm in Calgary it seems I get this call once a month... don't know how to stop it and my carrier is no help either

Got a call from this number on July 20th @ 5:10 pm. Didnt anser the call! They call almost once a month! it is really annoying!!

These people might have gotten our number from the National Do Not Call list.  Since anybody can buy that list and it doesn't affect anyone outside Canada.  :(

Think I'm going to see if i can find an app for my iphone to foward this number (when it calls) to my provider. Let these companies deal with eachother.

I rec'd my 2nd call.  Only 3 rings before they hang up.  I didn't recognize the number so I do not answer.  No message.  I wonder how many times they will call.

Didn't answer. Glad I didn't from these messages. Reminds me why I always screen my calls.

Funny thing is I only get these American scam calls on my Rogers cell phone and not my Canadian VOIP number with a different (obscure non-Rogers/Telus/Bell) company.

I wonder if Rogers is selling our numbers for extra profits (as well as the profits from those who pay per minute and who answer the phone for these spammers).

Just got a call from this number. I answered and the recording said "you have won a prize. This is for Telus customers only, to claim press 1"

I got a call from this number at 11:56am (Edmonton,Alberta/Canada) time on July 18/09 but I never answered it because I didn't know the number. Every cell phone company should block numbers like this for their customers for free cause this is bulls**t I am sick and tired of receiving calls like this.
