I received a call from this company regarding the hospital charges for the birth of one of my children - when this child was 10mos old - saying that I had not paid.  This is a scam!  I sent my payments directly to my hospital/OBGYN/anesthesiologist shortly after my child was born, and have no outstanding balance.
They called me at work, and the callers are extremely rude, foul and offensive - ?If you can?t pay for them, you shouldn?t have kids lady?, ?Are you on welfare too??, ?How many more children do you plan on having?? etc etc.
Luckily, I can have the IT department at my company block this number, but I really don't know what else to do.

THEY VIOLATED THE FAIR DEBT COLLECTION ACT BY ATTEMPTING TO GET ME TO PAY A DEBT AFTER BANKRUPTCY

I review my fiance's and my credit reports every year. I noticed that JR Brothers financial put a claim in that said he did not pay and it was closed out from 2008! this was not on there last year and to both of our knowledge everything was paid. I called and spoke to a woman named Robin who was rude, nasty, and flat out obnoxious. She told me i had to pay and i told her that i was not his wife yet but would be in 30 days. when i asked her to send me the bill that they are claiming was not paid so we could further investigate, she sent us a letter stating that we were in collections and they were going to pursue legal action!

She calls me twice a week and finally today when she called me up i told her that she did not send me a bill, we would not pay her, we are paid in full on our end and she claimed she was going to pursue legal action and i was responsible. when i reminded her again that i was not his wife and he and i were not married yet she went into a hissy fit and claimed i've been tellin gher that all along and that the conversation was over and she hung up.

when i called back to speak to a supervisor or manager, someone picked up and told me never to call this number again and hung up. when i attempted to call back the line was busy.

i think they are unprofessional, rude, obnoxious and don't know what they are doing. I do not live in Arizona, and Arizona state law claims that you have 3 years to collect before you cannot anymore. if  we did infact, not pay, they would have sent us a bill prior to 2011 if their claim is for 2008.  i find the whole thing odd,  and someone needs to do something about this!

This is in fact JR BRothers Financial - they are a medical and dental collection agency. Most of the people you talk to there are rude - but there are a couple people there that will speak nice and treat you like a human being.

I received this phone call for my wife and I. It did not sound legitement. He gave his name as Victor Martin and worked for J R Brother's Financial. He gave a number to call back which was nothing like the number from the caller Id. The callback number was 602-371-1001.
