This company tacks on collection fees to every bill which is illegal in Arizona. If you get a bill from them that show collection fees report them to the Arizona Department of Financial Institutions. They will be forced to reimburse anyone in which they collected collection fees. You may also be able to sue and get your money back plus more.

I am sick of them calling here looking for a criminal that doesn't live here.  When it says if you're not so-and -so, hang up; I do.  But then they call again.  Today amazingly a real person was on the line, and I told her off.  This better stop!

I never said I was a debtor. That's an assumption you pulled out of thin air. What I am is a woman who has a family full of medical personnel and who has previously worked in the medical field.

Debt collection companies are exactly why even nurses have been known to tell the financial office that if the bill gets turned over to collections, the hospital will not see another penny. So guess what, buttercup? You're not as helpful as you think .

Another thing is you might hwve had you experience with a rude collector. At emerald but never me. I do enjoy helping people out. I enjoy knowing that i was able to remove this account off a debtors credit to help you out in the long run.

Well, for starters, most people don't just "let" doctor bills go to collections. Many hospitals send debts to collections after 90 days whether they are being paid down or not.

For another thing, no, you aren't trying to help us out. Don't even try to play it off like that. You're trying to collect a bill.

Ive been working for emerald for a while now. The debts that we have are legitimate from our clients. I dont understand ehy would someone let a hospital bill doctors bill go into collection. We are not trying to harass you all we are trying to do is help you out. Our calls are all recorded so plewse stop calling and making fools of yourself.  Yes the company will report a debt as little as 5.00 to your credit.

If you were the owner of thr medical office that treated someone and was refusing to pay wouldnt you want the money someone owes you for providing services?

I understand that not everyone is able to pay off a high balance that you owe. But no reason on being an a** to peiple who are just don't a job so they are able to live life. If it were you on our end wouldn't you wanna be treated with respect?? I've never done anything to you to call and threatened us.

Just a thought you should really think about next time you call in and decide to tell a rep off.

I also discovered four collection accts on my report today from them.  Dropped my score 40 pts...  So what do I do?  I'm certain that if what you have posted is true, then it should be disputable to the bureaus, but that takes time...  Any advice?

I've been receiving calls from these people for months now.  I don't care how, but I just want it to stop.  I do not have any debts of any sort so there is no reason for these people to call me.  Someone needs to stop them from harrassing the public.

We got a call from them today.  Since we have relatives in the Phx.area, my husband tried to answer, only to get automated garbage.  He was with his home -health nurse so we didn't deal with it then.  When we did call back to them there was the whole 'hit one for a customer service Rep.'  Since I didn't want to be sent to the Bahamas, I hung up and went on line.  Yes we have tons of medical bills, but we won't be dealing with these bozos.  We'll find all our hospital receipts and talk to those people.

Don't contact them???  well, I just went to refi my home and found them on my credit report - for what I have not a clue!  I have never heard from them either by phone or mail.  This is going to prevent me from taking care of what I need to do so I don't lose my home...any ideas?

Got a call from this number and advised to call about a "Personal Business Matter"  returned call and was asked for various personal information prior to being to disclose what the issue was about.  I refused to provide the information and was hung up on.

I received a call from 602 # only to be told to call a different # w/ some reference #.  I have no outstanding bills & am very tired of being harassed by these people!!

I have to agree with everyone who has said something negative. I am currently having the same experience with  them, 4 calls today and I listened to one sentence and hung  up. So I will take advice from everyone who has had a bad experience and not talk to any of them.  Thanks to all of you who laid it on the line for the rest of us!!!

Ben, you're such a fraud and very transparent what a shame you live the life you do.  I to have compiled
research on this Company and Frank's info is right on the money.  It must feel terrible being you and being on the bottom of the food chain.  Now that more and more people are finding out about this Company it's only a matter of time.  Just like a screen door on a submarine,  it will never work!!!

I have received this voice mail message from this phone number over 20 times now:

"Hello. This message is for Hugo Diaz. If you are not Hugo Diaz, please hang up or disconnect"

I'm not Hugo Diaz; I don't know Hugo Diaz. Anyway, until today, I always followed instructions and hung up and disconnected right then, at that moment, although certainly starting to think, ?Man, this is getting ridiculous,? and ?Is Hugo Diaz trying to steal my identity??
But just now, I was going to re-post the message as a facebook status update and I listened to a little more of it.

"If you are Hugo Diaz, please continue to listen to this message. You should not listen to this message so that other people can hear because it contains private information, and by continuing to listen to this message, you acknowledge you are Hugo Diaz."

How creepy--this is clearly a kind of harassment.

Hey Ben your false and Frank is right. I've been seeing you post this same bs response on every board about Ar emerald so it's obvious you work for them and you and they are losers! Quit being bottom feeders and get real jobs.  Also I would think being in the business you are in you would be good at lying but your post are to easily seen through, no wonder emerald is losing  everything. So please quit your crappy lying posts and let people warn each other about the slimy practices of crappy businesses!

Ben Do you work for AR, because no one is that happy having to deal with collectors! Also I accidentally answered when they called and no they were not nice in anyway plus they weren't even looking for me but were so sure they were right I couldn't get them to shut up. If you do work for them your pretty scummy doing stuff like this. Debt collectors are the bottom of the barrel, only thing lower are medical debt collectors. So they choose that job so at least they or maybe you should have the backbone to admit it!

What if you have judgements against your home for a fraudulent debt, or for a debt served to a made up person?  How do you fight that?

I had a great experience with this company.  They were very understanding and allowed me to set up a low automated payment.  Aftyer that they never called me. I wish all collection agencies operate this way. From the looks of the 2 posts I would say you guys are ex employees or owe them money.
