The kid on the other end seemed rather shocked and tongue tied when I told him that I wasn't even 40 years old yet.

Number has now been blocked.

It calls, tells me to call back at a different 800 #, but never leaves why they are calling, I just ignore it.

It is a collection agency for American Express Bassed out of Arizona. when you call thwe 800# it goes to a call bank who knows where. They are a collection agency.

Frustrating and annoying!! This number, and others similar to it, call 7-10 times per day. No message ever left, and when I do answer-music or no one on line.

have had SEVERAL harrassing calls from this number trying to get money from me, keeps changing amounts and trying to threaten me if i dont pay. i called my credit card companies and they have no idea what Im talking about. when i call this number they say Mr whoever isnt in and ask if i want to leave a msg. Guess what? i said i wanted the voicemail and they cut me off TWICE

called me while i was sleeping at 11:47 didn't bother to call it back. i figure its some scam to run up the phone bill

Said they wre looking for a relative and said it was an urgent business matter. I know it couldn't have been by the person they were looking for.

Called ME twice, I didnt answer...... no msg left.

Recieved a call, didn't answer,no message left, tried returning the call and just get a busy signal. I believe 602 is a MS phone number though.

called the 800# and a man got "toni" who had left a message on my machine...she said i was a possible relative of the person she needed to talk to very urgently...she said she would remove my number from her list...the man who answered before i was transferred stayed on the line for the entire conversation...seemed strange to me...

Received call from 602-944-2673 on husband's cell phone asking for someone I'd never heard of.  I told them to remove our number immediately and the guy wanted my name and to argue with me.  I hung up on him.  I will now do further research and see what I can do to stop this company from threatening and harrassing people.

I get a phone call from 602-944-2673.  They don't leave any useful information, only that it's regarding some personal information.  They request that I call back at an 800 number - 800-846-6406.  It's very annoying, they call about twice a day

This company has left 42 messages for me regarding a file on their desk with a reference number in 4 days which has kept my voicemail full consistantly.  I answer the phone when I am home but all they do is say "deadbeat" and hang up!  Now they are calling my family members and neighbors as well, most of which have unlisted numbers.  I have tried to return the calls but am told I have the wrong number.  I do not owe any money to anyone and have never had any credit cards or cell phones.  I own my home and my only bills are the utilities.  I researched the number and now have the name and contact info, thanks to this site, to send a cease and desist all contact letter as well as filing a complaint through the fair debt act and No Call List, copies of which will be sent to my state legislators and the Attorney General.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone, decided not to answer it because I didn't recognize it. They are unwilling to leave a message, because what they do is illegal. They are a credit bureau looking to find relatives or friends who will "help" by making a payment or by giving them information to help contact the person in debt. Definitely sketchy, if they do leave you a message keep it for the FTC.

Called twice.  Once with the number 602-944-2673 and the second time with  a nume unavailabe: 000-000-0000.  Both times they asked for an Anthony Ortiz.  Go figure.  Maybe they won't call back.

Caller left message stating to call about "a personal matter". I have no active Sprint account. AMEX wellll...but filing bkrptc so good luck on that. I just lost my health insurance/COBRA today, so other things on my mind.

This is the GCS or GC Services, a collection agency working with American Express and probably other credit cards.

EVA SOTO CALLED SHE SAID SHE WAS TRYING TO COLLECT A DEBT, I TOLD HER I WOULD MAKE PAYMENTS AND SHE SAID NO, AND THAT IF I DIDN'T PAY ALL OF IT THAT SHE WOULD TELL THE COMPANY THAT I WOULDN'T COOPERATE. SHE IS A LIAR AND SHE IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.

They call me and used my cousins name.................then my fathers name....I told him he was sleeping.........and the guy got pissed.....and urged me too wake him up......I said no and since then he wont stop calling me.............

You are part of the problem, "u pay me!". If you read (and I assume you did not) many of the posts are not the people or organizations your company is looking for, and they are questioning the tactics and language used. We've received this calls on our corporate lines looking for a business with a similar name (but wrong state) - the representative indicated our office manager was lying and was threatening to him, which prompted action from our legal department which ended the situation.

There is not a whole lot of due-diligence performed to ensure the people or companies being contacted are correct.

Asked to speak to Amber Pirella.  I told her she had the wrong number.  She said "She lives down the street from you - don't you know her? "  I said I did not and hung up.

This was a wrong number, I've had my number for 14 years and the name of the person they were looking for did not match anyone I know. Very insistent and rude, some obscene words. How do people and companies get away with this???

i guess you just assume that all debts are valid. too bad you're a moron, most of the debts seem to be cell phones, you know the ones that are getting sued all over the country
