Got a call from this number. Caller Id said nothing I didn't call back.

Oh and my card company wont see that its fruad, so I now have to pay all that off!

So I know this is way after the fact but I called and yes was dumb enough to give them my info, then tried to cancel it by calling them back and then cancelling my credit card, I now have over $800 dollars worth of charges on my card from utilities and phone bills from Arizona!  Don't do this if you ever get a call it's a scam and a bunch of bs!

The CO ezbartending is no longer in business. I had called the bank and thats what they told me.

Notice how this Chris guy with EZbartending isn't responding anymore. It is because he has nothing left to say. He knows he is ripping people off and that makes him the spawn of Satan. I think someone should contact the FBI and crack down on this company because I am one of thousands of people who has had money stolen from them. I believe they are one of many online scamming organizations that people get sucked into, and it has become an epidemic that is sweeping the internet community. I want my 99 dollars back like the rest of you. If we join together is there something we can do? They don't answer the phone when you call the number they give you, and the emails probably aren't read.

What action should we take?

This place is a complete scam. Does anybody know how to get ahold of them? they won't return my emails and every phone number i try i get a busy signal.

This is absolutely a scam.  I signed up and they immediately charged me $98.00 ($29 for the certificate and $69 for "finding me a job" - neither of which I ever received).  The website Itendbar.com boasts no contact info except for an email address which they never reply to.

But I was desperate, so I gave it a shot.  I took the exam and apparently passed.  They sent me an email saying so.  The exam however was incredibly poor and contradictory.  Some of the questions repeated themselves, the study guide didn't apply to the exam, a lot of the questions listed the same answer twice, etc.  Anyways, I got an email with instructions afterwards saying to follow up with an email, which I did, and I'm still waiting for my certificate.  That was nearly a month ago.

Now every time I send an email asking them to cancel or call me I get no response.  The number I have rings and rings and the voicemailbox is full.  The website says there's a "30-day-money-back guarantee" but there's no way to get your money back in time because no one will take your call.

Bottom line, I just called the bank and asked them to investigate the charge with the business.  This was a total waste of time for me and the bank.  And I am not happy with the way they promised "this is not a scam".  These people have no morals and should face jail time.  I hope they do!

I just got a call from crystal with itendbar.com, as she asked me for my cc # something told me to google it, i looked it up and found this and they're rinky dink made up website, so i hung up on her, im glad i found this bcs i too wld have ended up getting screwed.

same story..maybe we should all file a mass lawsuit instead of a million small ones where the lawyers fees will be more than what we lost...email me...sammgirl8@aol.com

I stopped reading the posts about half way down but I went through the same company and Chris Ladash recieved $99 from me also. My last disability check. I paid in hope to quickly get a job but IT IS A RIP OFF. I never got a bartending job and they dont respond to messages or e mails. They also kept loosing my information, I constantly had to hunt them down for help. Can someone email me the information to BBB so I can go on that site and report them myself. This company doesn't care that they take your money and not provide any service even when people are struggling more than ever before. So I just hope no one ever goes through this company. I'm glad I found this page and saw that I'm not alone here.

got the call today, same deal, face book add response.  told them i wouldnt give CC info before i looked them up. thanks everyone!

If you still have the audacity to even read these responses anymore, you need to realize there is no way of contacting you or your "company." (If that's really what you want to call it)
I have called three different numbers, e-mailed your "company" address, and tried to leave voicemails (although the mailbox is full, probably because so many people need their refund returned to them)
If you are so proud of your company, then you should provide a legit means of contact for your "customers" or "trainees" whom you care so much about.

I had the same issue as well.  I was ignorant enough to go through with giving them my information.  Lesson learned.  I have been trying to contact them non-stop for 3 months trying to receive my refund.  I took the route "Mike" told me to take in order to receive the refund,I called them the very next day after I gave them my info. and said I changed my mind.  They then proceeded to tell me I had to wait 30 days before I could contact them for a refund, which I did.  And big surprise, there is absolutely no way to get a hold of these people!!
I am now speaking with my attorney about this and we will be filing here shortly.  I think many people need to do the same!
Will keep people updated on the status of my suit and just pray that no one else falls into the same trap.

It is all a scam. I call them their mail box is full, and they don't reply to emails. I have heard nothing from them since I passed the test. They just took my money and ran with it. I am going to rate them on the BBB as well. I am also contacting their proxy server to let them know they are hosting a phony website.

Has anyone taken the steps to taking them to court?  Will a lawyer even bother with us?  I got ripped off and i am f*ing pissed.

Now these people have a site called itendbar.com. Same story - what crooks and still no refund as promised.

My girlfriend signed up and gave them $90 back in March. After 3 months of them completely ignoring her emails and everything, we asked for the money back. It is now 5 months later and we finally got someone named Mark to give us a refund, but he said that they can't refund us cause they dont have any money...they need to wait until someone else pays them, which he said happens several times a day. this is a TOTAL scam. No money? They are just waiting to scam someone else to pay money to other scammed people looking for refunds, and hoping that some people dont ask for the money back, and THAT is how they make a profit.

Its absolutly ridiculous. They should be shut down and put in jail.

This company is preying on people that are hurting. The rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Chris and easy bartend group - I will do all I can to get money back. You are not only a scam but are thieves.

My daughter also so this add on Craig's list and she responded with the hopes of getting a bartending job, she being young, not even old enough to drink gave them her debit card # and they were more than willing to deduct $90.00 from her account.  That's just wrong.  I wish she would have told me her plan before she was scammed.  She has not heard a word from these people yet!!  SCAM...I do believe so!!

ANd if you look on their FAKE WEBSITE the only information they have is an e-mail address.  Their only locations (if they even exist) are in AZ and NY.

A guy named Scott Henderson called me and told me he would set me up with hotels within a 20 mile radius.  Every hotel that they SAY they associate with said they have never heard of them and that it was a scam.  I called and asked for my money back because there is no hotel around me that 2)even has a bar or b) has ever heard of them and were NOT hiring.  The extremely rude lady Liz said that they recorded me, but there was no disclaimer saying that they were going to moitor a call.  Looks like some law suits are approaching this FAKE company soon.  
DONT FALL FOR IT...that guy Chris that keeps writing probably doesnt even exist.

I too answered an add on Craigslist in the LONG ISLAND area...after reading this i decided to call the # and ask to be put on a do not call list...the guy i spoke to his name was glenn...he said that he would put the # on do not call list since they had it from called ID...but i called from a restricted #...i just hope that they do not call again and i am glad that i looked up the phone # before i returned their call...
seriously...with this economy they shouldnt be scamming people that are really in need of a JOB!

Same thing happened to me! This woman (Who soounded like a telemarketer, incedentally) called me & said she needed me to pay $10. for access to some "list of bartending job leads" in my area. Her tone became increasingly condecending as the call progressed. When I demanded to know why they wanted me to give them my debt/credit card info. over the phone- she became totally nasty & rude. She gave me some B***S*** crap saying how "Hotels ask for a credit card to secure a reservation upon booking"! As IF! Please.
When I told her I don't give out my Credit card # to phone callers, she got really snitty & said "well, I just guess you don't want to get any jobs as a bartender then! & the twot  HUNG UP ON ME. Boy she really showed me...Ha ha ha.

ANYONE ASKING YOU TO GIVE THEM YOUR PERSONAL INFO. OUT OVER THE PHONE-IS A BIG FAT SCAM ARTIST-WHO WANTS TO RIP YOU OFF!! (NOT TO MENTION, IDENTITY THEFT with ACCESS TO/POTENTIALLY DRAINING YOUR BANK ACCOUNTS.)

I responded to an add on Craig's List as well.  They were looking for a barback..I've barbacked before, so I decided to email my name and number. Some girl called me back and gave me her schpeel about obtaining a "certification" for bartending.  Now, me, not only being a bar patron but have friends that are bartenders, know that you do not need a "certification" to get a bartending gig..Especially one in "mixology." That is such a made up term..After her story, I start questioning her about fees.  $10 dollars for the "certification" and $89 refundable dollars for collateral, so you don't jack them for the $10 certification..After she tells me all of this she proceeds to ask for my CC#..I didn't say I wanted to do this, nor did I agree to anything.  I tell her that I am reluctant to give my CC# over the phone.  She replies, we have a website..EASYBARTEND.com..and then asks me again.."What is the credit card number?"  I told her again, I am not giving it to you until I find out more information. She then proceeds to tell me she'll wait on the phone while I look at the website..At this point, I tell her I am on my way out, I don't have time for this..And I hang up..  I go to the website and it is totally bogus.  Nothing but cheap graphics, online polls (WTF is that about?), vague-a** information, annoying-a** music every time you went to another page, no contact information, just a link to an email address, which I didn't even check to see if it was legit and to top it off, there company name and web address don't even match..You guys are f****ng bogus..Get like the rest of the nation, and pound the pavement and get a real job...A***OLES!!!

I responded to an add on Craigs list for a bartending job in downtown South Bend and got a call back from a lady named Liz.  She gave me this big speil, didn't sound that bad, she told me it would only cost me $10 so like an idiot I gave her my credit card #...a few minutes after, right before hanging up she told me there was an additonal $89 fee. I told her not to process it because I didn't have an extra $99 to spend at the time, nor didn I want to spend $99 to get a job. She said she wouldn't process w/out my authorization because it was highly illegal..but she did it anyway and nobody is returning my phone calls on getting my money back, now I have several bounced check fees because of this!!!! SCAM!!
