Quit calling - If I want to lower ,my debt/credit card rate I will contact my bank....  Who is this company and what is the scam?

I want them to stop harrassing me they call every 2 to 3 weeks.  I live in canada to and we have a law for harassing telemarketters.

They're Nigerian bums--the calls carry a phony area code for Nigeria.  Blocked-call orders mean nothing to these creeps.
A solid stream of expletives often helps.

watch this company. they are using a data software that collects data from your listed number. I really can not get into detail but once the line is open it tracks your contact information until you do contact an financial institution. Once this happens they use peddle codes to try to get your records.

Sounds like phishing scam

An auto message called me prompting me to dial #9 on my phone if i were interested in lowering my credit card interest rate to 6%. I was curious because the one card I have is already lower than that so I hit 9 to speak with whoever. A man got on and asked me if i were interested in the reduction, I said yes but for what card. He said he represents all visa and mastercards. I told him I didnt have one of those cards, he quickly told me that I didnt qualify and hung up on me. I called the number back and the auto voice said that they are not interested in call backs. It also notified me that I could enter the do not call list and it will be removed within 72 hours. I believe this business is shady, whatever type of business this is.

Beware! They are "fishing" for your personal info. They are INDENTITY THIEVES!!!!!!!

Keep getting these phone calls to lower my credit. Both on my cell and home phone. I've asked to be taken off they're list and that does no good. I am also on the NJ Do Not Call List, still no help. If you get someone on the phone the rep rudely hangs up on me.

I got this call, and they said that "there are currently no issues" with my credit card, but its important for me to speak with someone about lowering my interest rate.  Press 9 to speak with a representative.  I did, and a man answered the phone almost unintelligably, and I politely asked to me removed from their call list. That douche-bag hung up on me!  WTF!  You called ME, you stupid jerk! GAHHHH!!!

I received the call today... I have received the same call from 3 other numbers and they are all the same, some scam to lower credit card interest rate. The key is they ask YOU for your information... If they were really "card services" they would know that already and they wouldn't hang up on you. I have a credit card on a payment program and it baffles me that whoever is running this scam is bilking people that don't know any better out of their money. Is there any accountability at all? The guy that answered this time when I pressed 9 said I can google "card services" and be put on the do not call list, I said google what company? He then hung up.

Received a call from this number on my cell phone.  I pressed 1 to ask them to stop calling me and they hung up on me without saying a word.

This is a cell phone scam to waste minutes on your phone. The best way to avoid this(no matter who your phone carrier is) just don't answer.. Phone Companies hire these carpet baggers and pay according to "per call". It can be a lot with auto dialers, people that answer the calls and number of calls they make. Ecspecially when you answer and wait to talk with someone. 10 minutes is a good chunk of wasted minutes...And you know who benefits then?

Yep...they keep leaving messages...I talked to one of the ladies there, who ended up hanging up on me and telling me to 'have a nice day' after I replied I have no loans, ect. that would make me applicable to their 'lower interest rates'...very rude! I tried to be put on the do not call list...we will see how long that lasts!

This is a card services telemarketer.  Every time I opt to speak with a rep and say to remove my name, they hang up on me.  This should be illegal.  Cell providers should provide blocking.

This is a scam, the offer to lower your credit card rate then tell you it will cost money...I called the number back and was offered the option to be placed on their do not call list.

im 17 the called and said they could lower my credit card rate i dont even have a credit card.

Do not call my phone number again.  I did not give anyone permission to give out my number so quit calling before I turn you in to the Attorney General.

I was wondering what cell service everyone that is commenting on? I have cricket and just wondering if they are the only company selling cell phone numbers? Thanks
