This message was from someone named William Young and said he was going to help me avoid foreclosure. I have never missed a payment on the mortgage as it is automatic withdrawl. The guy never said what company he was from or what time zone etc. I called the number back that he gave me (866) 554-3890 and the voicemail was for someone else. I hung up and figured it if was a real they would call during business hours or something.

Guy started giving the his speech about how he can lower my rates. I tried to stop him a couple times to ask him to remove my number. Once he was finally done talking I asked him if he could remove my number from their list. He tells me, yes he will after I get approved. I told him I don't have any debt and don't need to be approved for anything. He got mad, told me I was wasting his time and hung up on me. I tried calling back but keep getting the busy signal. If anyone happens to talk to this jerk curse him out and say something hurtful about his mother for me. Thanks!

Hello My daughter 10 yrs of age received this call tuesday night 12/22/2010 at 8:23pm est, I answered the phone and wanted to know what credit card they was talking about and the lady on the other line hanged up on me, I tried to recall the number and get a busy signal now.

Same thing happened to me.  I hit 9 and asked to be remove from the lilst and they hung up!!!

Received a recorded female voice stating lower credit rates
on my current credit card.
I pressed 9 and a guy responded if I was interested in reducing my rates.
I said yes and that it was too good to be true.
He hung up.
It is too good to be true.

I have been getting calls from this number for over a year. A recorded message tells me something about no invalid activity on my credit accounts. At the end they say to press 9 to speak to an agent. I did this before and asked them to remove my number from their records. Kept getting calls.  This time after pressing 9, a guy named Larry answered and I told him I wanted my number removed - he said "Well,  you've reached the wrong department for that, and that's the good news..." and he hung up on me!

Called my work phone (government issued) and gave me the message to press 9 to talk to someone and then hung up... What is the point of this? I'm guessing its to see if the number is active.

Scam.....this is another oneto trap us.

This # keeps calling my cell phone, work cell phone .. it's insane.
They're looking to improve my credit ... whatever!

They called and said press 9 to speak to a live rep to lower my credit card rate, so i pressed 9 to tell them i want off there call list and the hunk up on me.

Had a message from this number on Saturday 3/8.  Said name was William Page, from "Loan Modification Department".  Wanted to help me catch up on my loans  and "work together" to help me avoid foreclosure.  Sorry Mr. Page, but I am not behind on my mortgage payments, nor do you work for the company that holds my loan. He wanted me to call back 866-554-3890.  

Too bad "scam" isn't a choice under the "caller type" when I classify this submission.  It fits much better than "telemarketer".

They said they were from pro-loan and wanted to get my mortgage back on track.  I don't have pro-loan and the mortgage I have, I have never missed a payment, in fact I usually pay ahead.  I am guessing this is a call phishing for information, they also gave this number to call back to but you never actually get anyone:  1-866-554-3890
