This was a loud recording with a guy trying to sell loans to businesses.

Claimed to have "up to $100,000 line of credit" for my company, regardless of credit score, history, etc.  I didn't bother pressing 1 to talk to a representative.  (Note: our number is on the DNC.)

You have to redial the number and it will ask you if you want to be removed from the list.

Just rec'd a call, I didn't answer it, no VM left, I am on DNC list, and this isn't even my business number, its my personal cell.

got a call today and all you have to do is call back and press 1

I just called them and it said to press 1 to remove your number from the calling list. Hope it works!

I received a call from 603-214-3662.  The representative connected me to an automated message that asked me to take a survey.  I started it, foolishly. Then stopped near the end.  The call was disconnected. I tried to call the number to talk to someone, and automated message said told me to press 1, if I want to be placed on the "Do Not Call" list.  After that, I was disconnected.  I called the state attorney general's office to report this as possible fraud, but I am having difficulty talking to a consumer specialist in that office.    I wish that I had hung up, and not taken the call. Calls like that make me uneasy.  It all seems very, very suspicious!

An easy mortgage pitch.

Just got a call from this number, got the recorded message. I pressed 1 to talk to a representative. When they answered, I said "Please take my number off your call list." They hung up on me.

Calls also from (603)-214-3506 with same sales pitch. if you ask them to stop calling-or to speak to a mgr they will hangup the phone on you.

Same sales pitch...but after calling that number someone answered and ask if I wanted to talk to someone about my debt...I said let me speak to a mgr...they hang the four times I called. They are even call blackberry...I am soooooooooooooooo mad

We keep getting a call on our Fax Line from 603-577-5968 - ID - ERROL NH - Loans....for anything, without credit history... Caller ID: 603-214-3588. Caller: ASSOC. Caller Type: Telemarketer. We are on the DNC list. Doesn't any organization police these types of calls???
If it's not a SCAM, than they must be walking the fence because they are going out of their way to hide their identity. On one occasion, I selected 1 to speak to a person about a loan, when she answered I told her I wanted my phone number removed... she hung up without saying anything. We also tried pressing 1 to have the number removed... that doesn't seem to make a difference. I feel that the option to have your number removed is only a ploy to placate callers, allowing then to believe they will no longer receive any calls...
I also want to note that this is NOT the only number with a similar MO.. example: 888-577-5968

calls my cell phone all the time,I never answer because I know no one in this area.My cell is also on the do not call list, a lot of good that does.Ive seen or heard everything in the scam book, they should give up.

They left a message that started out "Credit is easier than you..." and that's when I deleted the message.

I didn't answer it but got the call twice. The caller ID  said Errol N H. They left no message. The 603 area code is for New Hampshire, thus the NH. Errol is a town in northeastern part of the state. Pretty far north too. Above Franconia Notch and "The Old Man" I'm guessing it's a phony location as that part of the state has more moose than people.

01/21/2008 - When I answered, empty air.

Have gotten several calls from this number with a pre-recorded Visa credit card sales pitch, when I call back there is a message of "all circuits busy". What is most disconcerting is that somehow the calls are circumventing my Verizon phone vibrate setting and coming through on my cell as a loud ring.
