i also got a call i listened and pressed 1 and tryed to get info and he called me a jack a@@ for trying to get info.....

Also remember that illegitimate companies and scam artists won't respect these lists.
Therefore once your enrollment goes into effect you should be extra careful of unsolicited telemarketing calls unless you know they come from a company with which you have a legitimate, established relationship

They just called me and played a taped message on my cell phone. They are a mortgage modification company. They said to enter 1 for service and 2 if do be put on their do not call list. I am already on the FTC's do not call list so they made no effort to check. Very easy for them to do. I am going to report them on the FTC website, but they don't seem to have much effect.
