This number is used by a private investigation corporation (many sub-contractors) working for collections companies. How do I know? I'm an attorney in NM and my practice is exclusively bankruptcy. Often, my clients give my telephone number to their creditors and I get the calls. Collections agencies and their agents (private investigators) are looking for your information to collect a debt. They can say anything, pretend to be anyone, lie, steal, commit fraud all in the name of debt collection. Contact the FCC at fcc.gov and file a complaint. Won't do anything but get you a form from the gubberment saying that you've filed a complaint. My advice? Just don't answer the call, block the call, complaint about the call, never give any information, tape record the call, tell the caller to p****off.

Called twice.  First time, said "Wrong Number" and the second time heard series of clicks and then hung up on me.

I got a call telling me I could be eligible for a reduced interest rate of 6.9%. He asked me to verify my name and phone number, which I did (though he didn't offer anything to verify it against - red flag). I pursued the conversation and when he asked for my credit card number, I told him I would need his contact information and that I would not give my credit card info to someone who contacted me. He argued for a minute and then hung up on me. Can I report this guy somewhere? He almost got my info! I'm afraid other people could get duped!

Called my cell today and didn't leave a message when I didn't answer.

i recieved a call from this number and a machine said it wanted to lower my intrest rate on credit card i got the operator and asked some questions about her company and she hung up on me. so i think it is a scam. i reverse lookuped the number and there located in errol,new hamp.

I get like 3 calls a day from this number and other numbers as well, seemingly from the same company. I have not yet called this number back, but I am informed from the post that you get a recording giving you the option to take your number off of the list. If this option is pressed, does anyone recieve anymore phone calls? I will check back on this site periodically. Your help would be very much appreciated. I am pretty much getting fed up with this!

I have gotten several calls from this number, 603-214-3618. I think this is a U.S. link from area code 5-062-****, an overseas solicitor for credit card rate reduction. It is a scam to get your credit card information. I don't answer these calls, and they never leave a message.

its some number for a lower interest rate....it says press one to speak with a rep...i pressed one and it said to take my number off the list and the guy said negative and fumbled to hang up the phone....

Have gotten several calls from this number on my land line and cell.
I have learned to press 1 on such calls, this takes you to a person,
the calls are to lower credit card intrest rates.  As soon as you ask where they got your numbers from a dial tone is your only answer.

recieved a call from these scum bags informing me about my credit card. the call was a recording and right now I'm fed up with these a** holes calling me in the middle of the afternoon.

Did not recognize the number and I usually do not get phone calls from unfamiliar area codes so therefore I did not answer and they left no voice mail so curiosity got the best of me and I did a reverse phone search and located it in (im pasting the info)Type: Land LineProvider: Freedom Ring CommunicationsLocation: Errol, NH ....with a population of 316.  The whole town must work for this company, I figure.

Thanks for this information. I got a call from this number and didn't answer (I never answer if I don't recognize the number), but I looked the number up here and saw your post. It's great to have this information!!! Scams are rampant, even now more than ever, it seems.

it's an indian guy actualy

Just received a phone call from this number asking if I want lower interest rates on my phone number via an automated system.  Sounded really professional, so I thought...what the hey, I have time right now...

A middle eastern sounding man answered asking me for my current credit accounts.  I said, "Whoa.  I thought you WERE my credit agency.  Who are you?"

"Account Services," he says.
"Account Services, who?"
"Account Services.  We are in Orlando, Fl.  But, I'm not allowed to give you our address."

Red Flags.  So I tell the dude to remove me from his phone list and hung up.  I googled 'Account Services.'  Turns out theres one in Washington.  And, the (603) number?  Its out of New Hampshire.

Watch out for scams, people!

Called I didn't know the number so I didn't answer. But I looked up n got this web site.

recd call on cell phone recording said "important message from credit card services on information to lower your credit card rate to 6.9%"  "Press 1 to speak with a customer service rep. or press 2 to be removed from our calling list"

Called my cell,didn't know the area code,looking it up found this site.Guess even cell #'s are fair game nowadays

Called left no message, calls again and again. No message left.

This number was on my caller ID no message just the number.

Nothing was there just silence!! Right durning my sons nap ugghhh..I called it back and it said I had reached the number in error but if I wanted removed from the call list press one so I did and it stated Thank you!! I bet I get more calls! This is nuts....
