Received several phone calls to my cell phone and I kept telling the guy I couldnt understand him to put someone else on the phone who spoke english.  After several times of telling him this I finally got fed up with it and hung up the phone, Then he called me back and left two messages with the same phone number to call him back to speak with Attorney Mark Williams.  I never called the number back and after 5 pm i received 2 more calls and finally spoke with this supposed Mark williams who spoke with me told me the same thing about not speaking until he was done with his spill and asked if i could pay, after the this that and the other, he pressed some buttons and supposedly put me on hold and n Michelle Brown the rudest person Ive ever heard on the phone stated the same thing about being arrested the next morning and being extradited to california and the same thing as above.  After making me cry and having a panic attack, I called my local police department and they came and took down the information and advised me to call the AGs office and report it.

best thing to do is block the number, that's what i've done! I also contacted my local police, attorney general, FTC and the FBI, the assured me it was a SCAM because a lot of people have been calling and complaining about the same thing. If you want you can also file a complaint at www.IC3.gov

i received a message on my cell phone from someone name samantha saying i need an attorney and that if i don't returned the phone call that i will need good luck and the situation falls on me. i called the number back and the person keep hanging up the phone on me

i recieved a call from 951 489 0230 and the lady stated that i had to pay $875 today or $4000 in court and the lady who called can not speak english very well she was very rude and when i asked what it was about she said that it was something from a payday loan i dont know if its true or scam can you please help me

Called 9/19/2011 at aprox 9:27am. Answered the call. Caller stated that he was "Frank Smith" and when I asked the nature of the call, he threatened me with "terrorist" activity. Politely asked the caller again to state his name and nature of call, caller stated that I am in big trouble.
Really? Ok Mr. Smith, you have now been reported to the CIA and FCC. I wonder who is in "big trouble" now?
I am tired of these phone calls, worse thing is there are calling my cell phone!
I do not trust any of these calls, callers, or anything.
I will not tolerate these calls and I encourage everyone to report these callers to the FCC, the police, and your state attorney general!

I am getting the same phone calls form several different numbers. Here is just a short list of alias's they go by. Shawn Michaels, Richard Andreas, Dale Watson, John Watson, John Anderson, Patrick ? Brian King, David Watson, Eddy Smith Etc... They claim Me or my husband owe them money. We reported them to the police but they will not do anything. So my husband and I have started calling these so called debt collectors and doing the same thing to them they are doing to us. I have also told them I was an attorney when they call.  They just hang up!!  I am LMAO at these people, It is just a scam and they are getting away with it. So my advice to you is Give them hell when they call.  Laugh at them call them names, and by all means call them back and harass them! It makes my day when they call cause I just have a field day with there a**! After a while they will start using different numbers. I have wrote down everyone that they call from so I can call them on a regular basis and after normal business hours. iI BELIEVE THESE CALLS I'M GETTING FROM THE 951 489 0230 ARE FRAUD AND SCAM, A MAN WITH AN INDIAN ACCENT CALLED HIMSELF MR. THOMAS FIRST CALLED  SEVERAL TIMES  TELLING ME i OWE $ 769.59 FROM A PAYDAY LOAN PUT IN MY BANK ACCOUNT AND WANTED TO KNOW IF i WANTED TO SETTLE OUT OF COURT OR ELSE. IT WENT FOR SEVERAL DAYS LIKE THIS, THEN YESTERDAY 9/16/11 A MR WILSON CALLED AND SAID THE SAME THING THAT HE FEELS SORRY FOR ME AND THAT HE WANTED MY ATTY TO CALL HIS ATTY TO SETTLE THE DEBT. WHICH i HAVE NEVER
HAD OR HEARD FROM , WHEN i DID ASK QUESTIONS HE DID NOT WANTED TO EXPLAIN AND REPEATED HIMSELF AND HANG UP, TELLING ME HE FELT SORRY FOR ME FOR WHAT WAS GOING TO HAPPEN TO ME.WISH SOMETHING COULD BE DONE TO STOP THESE SCAMS AND THREATS

I have reason to believe that these scam artists originate from China. Some of them sound like they are putting on a fake Indian accent but I can detect a chinese accent in some. It would explain why they are so hard to trace and the threats saying we owe them and they are going to put us in jail. That is what they plan to do one day when they invade us. Just look at who holds the majority of our national debt.

Got a call today stating that I borrowed 300.00 but now owe over 40000.00. She said that I would be arrested at my work within the next 8 hours. I asked her to send me something in writing and she refused. I began to ask a series of questions and she hung up on me. Then a man called me (spoke very poor English) from a restricted number said the exact same thing that the woman said. He had my bank information. This is a SCAM!!!

Claiming that i owe money from an online loan.I know thats a lie.They want be getting anything from me.

Today I received a call from this number stating they were a government internal affairs from cali and that I had received a loan and it was deposited into my account and I had defaulted on it and that I had 3 criminal charges on me form CA and told me to get a lawyer and the cops would be at my place of employment in 8 hours to arrest me, they have my ssn, address, job, and idk what else, and when I commented on the fact that they could barley speak english and how he got a JOB with the US government he became enraged and hung up on me.

I recieved a call from this ph# 951-489-0230, the reported that I had borrowed a loan that was deposited to my bank account, and that they are  the Legal dept/attorney affair..(mid-eastern) of course, the threaten to send a cop to my work to have me arrested tomorrow if I didnt give them money today/so I went a bought the money gram/green card/only $30.00, before I did this, I researched the ph# online...seen all these comments posted on this link/called the police dept...I went in to have the police call the ph#, the male whom answered hung up/I found out this ph# could be in the Irvine/Hemet/victorville/ area...so please if they call you....Just report to the police dept, and have them call them, so that they know that the collectors know that the police have been informed/I called this Michelle Brown back and asked for the creditor info that is reporting me to the attorney legal dept/she started to say" well if you don't want to resolve this, I cut her off and once again said " the poice are aware of this SCAM" She hung up, I called again and they don't answer...How can these idiots get our info? The FBI or attorney general need to do an investigation or something...

why are these people and i use that term loosely allowed to call the regular hardworking people and get away with it. the government should shut them all down.i get the same threats. people who do this are sad people.

I fianally got to talk to the guy for a while. I kept him on the phone for 6 minutes and was just polite and kept asking how your system works. He finally said "well I can tell you already know you know this is a scam". I said yes I do how does it work, I mean I get the majority of it, but how do you get away with it? He told me"I cant give away any other information because the more you know the more risk I am taking". So to anyone that gets this call IT IS A SCAM and DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY!!!

I recieved a call from this number and 508-499-7181, its the same company asking about money that was depostited into my account. They know what bank I had but were very rude and hung up on me. They are also calling me at work.

these idiots call DAILY at least 7 times..... the guy on the phone CANNOT SPEAK ENGLISH WORTH A S*** .... and sounds like he has the same in his mouth.   NO Clue what its for

Call me more than 9 times in a day.  Leave the same message.  Telling me that my attorney or myself contact them immediately.  I hate to tell you what might happen to you, because it will not be pleasant.

this is really freaking weird they called me abt 15 times i finally answered. this india man claimed to be from a legal service and he repeated my dob and ss#!!!! i never confirmed the information(obviously) and the man told me to prepare to be arrested. called the number back and the dude was hanging up on me!!!!!

my first call from this number was last Tuesday they have been calling me harassing me why I don't know they also called me Friday at work and home then they turned around and called me Saturday  two times I don't know why there calling

I keep getting calls from this number too.  They tell me that either myself or my attorney need to call them back.  They said my credit could be jepordized and then at the end are rude and say "Well you and your attorney have a pleasant life".  RUDE!!!!!

They called-left a message that was incredibly difficult to understand(poor English)- about $5000 deposited to my bank as a loan that was in default. I had no idea what they were talking about, so I returned the call. They were calling themselves "internal affairs" and were very rude when I asked what this was about. They mentioned theft by deception and the like. When I again asked about this mystery money that I've never seen they became enraged and HUNG UP on ME!
