"This is the second notice that the warranty on your car-"

That's as far as it got before I hung up.  I don't have a car.  Also, second notice is more like 15th notice, as I've had this call many, many times in the last 6 months.

Got a call just now.  No message left.

They didn't leave a message.

Bogus call: "auto warranty about to expire"

Same thing, just now.

Called, no message, added to blocked number list on my helio ocean phone! =]

Jsut happend to me googled an got this as a seach.. Seems like a scam

This is the all too familliar "Vehicle Waranty" phone call. Our company recently got a VOIP system with DID numbers so there's a little less than 100 telephone numbers where I have to deal with receiving these calls. I've had 4 just today, 3 of those calls came from this one phone number @ 1:22pm, @ 1:49pm, and @ 2:32pm. I am keeping an ongoing record of each and every one of these calls I receive now with a list of numbers, times, caller ID's. I recommend everyone follow these directions when dealing with these calls, try to get the company name, give them fake info if you need to.

I just got a call as well! Disconnected when calling back!

I talked to them for a little bit.  It was something about car insurance.  I gave them a small amount of information but nothing serious.  When I said I wasn't interested and began asking them to remove my name and information from their database they hung up before I could finish my sentence.  I tried to call back and got a disconnect message.  I reported them to the federal trade commission.  Anyone else who receives a call from this number should do the same.

Your caller ID just showed a number which is not necessarily the real number calling you. It could be a disconnected number as in your case or a real number such as your own (if someone uses yours, you will notice a large number of calls from all over and probably mad at you).
Read the posts for various numbers in this site and you will then begin to understand the problem. Also let as many people as possible know about the site to help reduce the scams going on.

same thing as others, didnt recognize # so didnt answer it, but called it back and its disconnected, how is that possible?

I got the same call at 10:00am, I called them back and now it's disconnected.

Got this call...no message.  Looks like all these comments are from the last 24 hours.  Seems like a scam to me.
