Same thing.  Caller ID said "Security". Set my phone to block calls from this number.  srk's idea is great.

Received a call from "Security 603-589-7556" on 3/27 at 11:45 AM.  Did not answer and of course no message was left on my voice mail.  I had gone almost a week without numerous calls from Card Services, Security and other such titles.  I never answer unless I know who is calling me as I assume that if it is important enough for them to call, then they can leave a message and I will call back if it is a legitimate call.  I had been getting so many of these calls one week I was to the point of answering "_____ County Sheriff's Dept. how may I direct your call" and see what would happen.  Of course it would probably be an automated call.  If it was a live person I would tell them the number they have called has been receiving threatening calls and was forwarded to their office to handle.  I do have friends on both the county and local city police Departments that I could direct them to.  Might be fun to mess with them!

They called just now.  I answered with "ADT Security how can I help you" to an automated machine.  I hit 1 for a person and asked them why they are calling an ADT security office trying to sell us a security system.  The person on the other end was speechless and had no clue how to respond.  It was actually quite funny.

The comments here are remarkable!  The first of them suggest the caller was a fake debt collector.  Then, no one commented on this number for 26 months, and now the call appears to be a 'home security scam!'

I picked-up the receiver and listened to the recording for their scam, pressed no keys on the phone when instructed, and the call disconnected.

Beware!  This caller intends to take advantage of you over the phone - big time!

Called three minutes ago.  Came up as "Security" on caller id.  Didn't leave msg.  Assume telemarketer trying to sell home security system.  These people have been very persistent lately, calling from several different area codes.

Unwanted call.  No message left on voice mail.  I'm on the Do Not Call list.

called and didn't leave a message.  keep getting these annoying calls.  I do not answer unless the caller is identified or I know the number and caller.  

I didn't pick up; they didn't leave a message. If they had really wanted me -- me personally, as opposed to just any random mark -- they would have left a message and a viable call-back number. Plus, if they were in any way legitimate, their caller ID wouldn't announce them as "Unknown." And if they really are a collection agency, my credit is pristine, my debts are few and current, so I couldn't care less.

These people call me all the time!  On Holidays and even before 8am and after 8:30pm!  I just set my phone on straight to voicemail and forget about it!  Collection companies stink!!! NCO Financial, for Capital One

I think I was pocket dialed by this number.  It was just noise and distant voices when I picked up.

They'll even call you bright and early on a Sunday morning.
