Received the same call from this number earlier today. After answering two of the questions, I realized it was clearly a recording. Upon searching for this, I found this. Definitely a false call! Wish I had seen this before answering...

Recived call did not answer. I did do a survey but iam not answering there calls now that i know whsts goin on. They called my cell.

Just got called, they hung up w/o saying anything.

If you want to stop these people file a complaint with the state attorney generals office, it will take you 5 minutes to fill out the form.  Especially if they called your cell phone, that is a violation of TCPA.  Unless you actually gave them that number.

They say you took a survey, really, can you provide me with an IP Time and date stamp for that?  Lets nail these scumbags.

got a cal a few hours ago on my private tracfone cell number that i have only given out to close personal friends. the number was local so i answered, thinking it was my mother. when i said hello a few times, no response, then i heard a man say hello and hang up. upon googling i found this, and apparently the person is calling a lot of numbers in a short span of time, and since this is a tracfone number that's unlisted, and my other tracfone got telemarketer calls too...

Just got the call...and I have business number!  When I answered giving my company name I was met with dead silence.  After reading the other posts I know why.  My thanks to everyone else for their reports too!

I have been getting numerous calls from this number and I will tell you that when I call it back it gives an option to take you off your list... this is supposidly for a job opportunity.. however there is no real person and they keep asking questions that if there is no person to listen then can't use that information for anything other than a scam... also contacting Metro. You can have that specific number blocked but I was told there was nothing that you can personally do like his * and what ever number it is... we have to report the number to metro.. so please make sure that you call and report the number so we all can get this taken care of... thanks everyone...

These people called my home phone (which I haven't given to ANYONE), then my 15 year old's cell phone THEN my cell phone.. I don't know who they are and I don't want to do any survey!  Yes I have my resume out there and I have applied to a few jobs but other then that I haven't given my numbers to anyone and I certainly didn't provide my son's cell.  I don't know who they are but I have now filed a complaint with both the FCC and the DNC!!!  So done with these people!

I called back and when he said this call is being recorded for quality assurance, I said "I am recording as well, how did you get my number?" He hung up. Scam.

Just missed a call on my business cell phone.  Glad I did and glad I found and read these posts before I made the mistake of calling the number back.  Thanks for the heads up!  I hate wasting my time.

I just got a call from this number too.  I was at work so I put it to VM... they did not leave a VM. I'm happy to read that I didn't miss anything.

Just got a call from this number while at work so I missed it and they did not leave a message.  I did recently apply for a job online but it was directly through the nationally known company's official website and the position was in Maine so I decided to look up the number to see if it was from the same company so I could call back if so.  Glad I checked, love this site and thanks to everyone who reported.

Just got a call - absolute scam. Claimed I had taken an online survey. No way, Jose.

More of the same. Very poor connection and when I indicated this is not something I did online nor do I provide my phone number online the person on the other end continued to talk. I simply stated I am not interested and hung up.

Just got a call Friday night the guy was very pushy I hung up.  He called again this morning I didn't answer

Some company or scam that tries to get information to match you with a job. Called on a cell phone.  The guy is oily and talks over whatever you say.

Same as above but decided to play the game.  They will send me an email tomorrow at which time I can actually trace who they are and where they are located (Security expert).  Not interested in a job but am interested in shutting down this annoying call scam...  Will post after I see what happens next.

It's an alleged business called WN positions it claims to offer career employment opportunities then gives you info about jobs you have to pay to get. Delete and Block

Ditto....called, did not leave msg.  Of course I like talking to these telemarkers, I like to play jokes on them and harass them back.

This number showed on a call to my cell phone. I didn't recognize it, so I didn't pick it up. There was no message left. Some sites say this number belongs to "Choice One Communications," but that may indicate only the service the caller is using.

I also just got a call from this number but did not answer it...I too am very appreciative for everyone's post! ...HERE'S A USEFUL & SIMPLE WAY TO STOP TELEMARKETERS. I've used this for the past few years when I first heard about it and it works! ... The federal trade registry w/ the US gov. has a national "do not call registry" number 888-382-1222. You can call this number from any phone number you want on the do not call list (cell phone or landline) and after 31 days you can file a complaint against any telemarketing calls received. To file a complaint, you can go online at: www.donotcall.gov or call back the same number. Hope this helps others eliiminate a headache or two from annoying telemarketing calls! :)
