You called me from my other cellphone. I want to know why. Or what You looking for.

I didn't answer when the call came on my mobile. I DID get a voicemail message. When I checked it, it sounded like 10 seconds inside the cockpit of a Cessna 150.

Strangely enough, this call came through my Skype account. But like everyone said, it's a telemarketer selling extended auto warranty.

Scammer robo-call. Tells me that my vehicle warranty may have expired. They'll never identify the name of their company, though.

I missed it. Called back using *67 first so my number would be blocked. The message said if I want to be removed press "1". I hung up.

They are violating the do-not-call federal law (even if one aren't on the do-not-call list).
REPORT THEM.
It takes 45 seconds, EVERYONE can & should report them because it's an automated message.
You don't need to leave any personal information in the report (it's optional).

It's a car warranty scam, do not pick up and report them.

603-689-9560 just called me too. I missed the call but tried to call back. An automated message answered saying to press 1 if I wanted to be taken off the call list.

I totally agree that this is weird. I just received a call stating it was my 2nd and final call regarding my expiring vehicle warranty. I pushed "3" to see if a person would actually answer but it disconnected. I called it back and it was a recording asking if I wanted to be removed from calling list to press 1. I just hung up. It's funny my number has changed since I purchased my vehicle. I'm also registered on the No Call List for solicitations, not that it works anyway as this is a prime example.

I just received a call on my cell phone. Missed the call and left a voice mail. Based on the feed back here, 1. my car is only 2 months old and 2. GMS is talking Nissan Experience, and that is all I drive is Toyoyta's == Definately not returning the call

Just called me less than 10 mins ago.
They are a warranty/Insurance co. that was trying to pose as my warranty servicer, but initially I wasn't sure. My recording said to press 1 to speak with a specialist. I did, it rung and rung, and I put it on speaker while looking up the number. It stopped ringing and said "thank you" a service provider with be in touch.
Less than 5 mins later I get a call from 617-752-2958. Here's the total recap from the two calls:
got a call from this number after I chose yes to an automated call about car warranty renewal. It sounded skeptical, but we have just had our new car for exactly 1 year so it made a little bit of sense.
When the guy at this number called I said "yes, can you please tell me if you're the agency currently servicing my warranty?" Click.
So yes, they are violating the do not call list, or they are a subsidiary in the Nissan experience. Glad they hung up right away.

Got the call from the number. Did not leave a message. Called back and got the same as above responses. They called me from my work number which I do not give out.
John 2013-08-02 15:04:54 Unknown
Same number called but did not leave a message.
Freddy 2013-08-02 11:55:18 Unknown
Saw this as a missed call on my office phone with a blank voicemail. And like others above, I NEVER give my work number out to anyone non-work related. Not even my mother. LOL Called back, same recording as stated above: "Hello, and thank you for calling. If you'd like to be placed on a do-not-call list for the number that called you, please press 1 now." I didn't press anything, and if you wait, the recording just repeats itself. Definitely a scam of sorts.

Got the same call from 603-689-9560 here at work. They did not leave a message. Weird thing is that if what you guys are saying is true about the extended warranty thing, I never give out my work number to non-work-related folks unless I know them.

got a call from the above number telling me that my extended warranty was about ready to expire. If I wanted to add coverage to press 1. I did and got a call from a 202 aria code cell phone. the caller asked me to verify the make and model of my car, I said you should know that! he said we need to verify it. At no point did he call me by name and when I said that I didn't have an extended warranty and that if I did he should be able to tell me my name and the car that he is talking about. he hung up. SCAM

Called me on my work phone offering extended warranties if my car was made between 2005 - 2012. I didn't answer and they left it all on my voicemail - completely spam.

I got the call from the extended warranty co. I thought it was humorous as I live in Canada and I don't own a car.

It is an extended warranty co., they called me at work while I was on queue. That was really weird when all incoming calls at the time were transfered in through an operator.
alex o 2013-08-01 19:16:54 Unknown
I pressed 1. Dammit I hope that doesn't come back to bite me in the a**
