While frequently pleasant, the callers "doing their job" neglect my requests to remove my number from their list. The FCC and their DNC list procedures are specific as to a course of action.  I guess I'll become one of those litigious A**le Americans that I so despise. Screw you MCM. You made me this way.

I just started. Working at MCM Merchandising. It is never an automated call. We are not allowed to leave messages, and you have no idea how often we get weird dial up sounds, so maybe if you picked up the phone and talked to someone, you would know what you're complaining about. We sell home maintenance systems, and offer free demonstrations as our advertisement. Which you may say no, and the person who called you will cross you off the list, but that doesn't show up on everyone else's list. So, don t blame us, were just doing our jobs.
Also, just for everyones info, if we don't set appointments, which really are completely free, we lose our jobs.

I got a call from that number today (out of New Hampshire, which is where I live), and the person on the phone said she represents Kirby vacuum cleaners. She said my friend had given them my name which enabled me to get either a $50 carpet shampoo or $50 off a carpet shampoo, I don't remember which now. But anyway, the weird thing is...my friend went on an interview with them the other day, but says she never even discussed me OR a gift certificate with them, and never filled anything out on my behalf. It was purely a job interview with Kirby, so that's who it seems to be. At least it was when they called me, but you know how some telemarketers represent lots of different companys.

Seeing that you're not interested in buying a Kirby Vacuum, would you be interested in buying some brooms and dustpans?

Have you ever noticed that the majority of people complaining on here are probably living paycheck to paycheck because they dont have the "go to" attitude we at MCM have. Well thats funny because Ive been working there for almost a year now and I opening my own business. Corey and Melissa are the best people to work for, they have helped me in times that were tough, I was on the verge of being homeless before I found MCM Merchandising and I would never even think twice about applying to any other place. I love how people can bi*** and moan and complain about a company... Obviously you didnt last because of your work ethic... Not because of the company... Programs dont fail, people do

I have dealt with kirby before and once they clean a rug that is when they want your name your social and income to run a credit check to see if you qualify to buy a 1500 dollar vacuum then when your credit comes back not good enough then they turn into major a**holes for they are not making a sale so if it is a upstanding company how come you charge so much for a vacuum and as a disabled veteran on a fixed income i think it is wrong to pressure people or cold call just to sell your product when you are offering a free cleaning the customer should make that determination if they want to buy one not hey let see if you qualify and that is about it

603-882-0223 calls all the time but never leaves a message. very aggrivating......

For months 2-4 calls a day-caller ID indicates 'unknown'.  I am currently registered on the Do Not Call List.  They never leave a message.  Last week I gave in and answered hoping to talk to someone about stopping the calls.  I was put on hold for customer service and after waiting over ten minutes gave up waiting.  Today tried answering again- spoke to a heavily accented man named Shawn who identified the business as MCM.  He was very rude and argumentative as soon as I asked him to please stop the calls and that I do not respond to any telemarketing call.  I finally had to just hang up on him.After working, fighting traffic and all the things we all do on a daily basis, how sad that we must be bombarded at home and apparently there is no recourse for us ,or deterrent for them.  The Do Not Call List just doesn't work without easily enforceable penalties.

these people are are less than scum on s***. $5 says "chris" above is the guy that owns the place, corey, he is an a** wipe. literally, there is no way to defend this establishment. it is basically a legal way to con people. his wife is the desk lady and she is a fat f****ng c***. they have a couple of mindless bimbo bi****s in the lobby (aka their "call center") and theyre the ones that call you all the time. document the calls and stop by your local police station one day and report them for relentless harassment, then call the better business bureau. these 4ish people steal thousands upon thousands from teenagers, their families, friends and anyone else whos pocket is in range.

Keep getting calls from them.  Yes, they are pushy and rude.  And we have our number registered with the DoNotCall list so we should not be receiving these calls.

How are companies like MCM Merchandising allowed to exist!  I recently had the displeasure of receiving a call from them after seeing their number on my caller i.d. 4 times in a 2 hour period) because someone had given them my name for a "free" carpet, hardwood floor or furniture cleaning.  When I told her I wasn't interested in a carpet cleaning which ultimately turns into a Kirby vacuum system for $2,000 (unless you bought it on the spot - $1,400) she was rude, indignant and so unprofessional that I was shocked.  It's too bad that people have to work in these positions because of the poor job market but I think I would rather work shoveling horse manure than work at MCM Merchandising!  Gee, I wonder if the CEO of Kirby Vacuum and any other company that contracts MCM Merchandising to represent their products or services is aware of their customer service practices?  Something to be researched for sure!

I love working for MCM Merchandising everybody is super nice and I make more money than the regular 9-5. All you have to do is go to work.  Most people are lazy and like to talk a bunch of s*** and point fingers because they would rather collect from the state, and have nothing better to do but type untrue things about the company.

The phone number 1-603-822-0223 keeps calling and actually being rude towards our family for
unwanted rug services. If they call just do not answer!! They do not give up?? and are very rude when they try to tell and demand with you THEY HAVE AN APPOINTMENT!!!!!!

They are all jerks. I worked there for a week because it seemed okay at first but they treat EVERYBODY horribly, employees and customers. And you're right, they do harass people. That place is a joke. The lady that was supposed to be my supervisor was Holly Kirkendoll and just a couple months ago I read in the newspaper that she was wanted for home invasions. Great company huh? Glad I left when I did.

The rude woman calling from 603-822-0223 called twice within two minutes and refused to put us on their do not call list, which is illegal.  They insisted that we get a carpet cleaning from Kirby vacuum.

Because of this person, we will never buy a Kirby vacuum, even if it is the last brand on earth.

tHEY WONT STOP CALLING AND HARRASING ME

Supposedly this call originates from Rochester NH. This person or cold call calls my home every day. Sometimes 2 times a day! I am fed up  with seeing it. Of course I don't answer. There has never once been a message left. Today I was so fed up, that I grabbed my blow horn, answered and blew in the phone! If you can believe it they called back again!! I blew it again only louder! It had to be an automated call..it would be deafening! The call comes up as MCM Merchandising a few people have told me they think it is a vacuum sales person. Anyone legitimate would leave a message; even a pesky debt collector.
