I recieved a call from that number today around 4:30 or after...picked up. Real quick disconnect when they heard the voice...not sure if there were calls before, but I have heard the description given before on the vechicle....What are the police doing about it. They have been given enough calls on it.

They called yesterday afternoon (Monday 3/26/12) and again today (Tuesday 3/27/12) at 2:53 p.m.  I didn't pick up either time.  Yesterday I added that phone number to my ILLEGAL CALLS contact, which has a silent ringtone, so at least I won't have to hear them.

They called our place on Mar 26 @ 3:31.  Normally, we let the answering machine handle callers whom we do not recognize.  This time my wife picked it up and nobody was there.

Nobody in the driveway.

I just got a call from this number (2/15/12 4:30pm).. has anyone answered when they call? I live in a rural town, so the previous notes have me worried!

This number has called me more than once. Looks like it is unregistered for Verizon and checking to see if you are home so they can break into you home???.
How can this be stopped?

Called us at 2:47pm today 02-08-12....FYI. If you call this number back it states it is a disconnected verizon wireless number. I contacted Verizon Wireless today and spoke to a representative. They have no record of this number in their system, and in fact they called this number to hear the same recording I heard. They said the 892-5005 number is and was never a verizon wireless number. There is an APP. called Bluff My Call for the I phone. It appears some criminals have figured out that using this app will allow them to call your house and see if you are home before breaking into your house. Our house was called this past Tuesday 02-06-12 at 2:38pm as well. Wouldn't you know it....shortly before the call came in there was a full sized white van with New Hampshire registration in my drive way. The driver was a caucasian woman about 5' 5" tall and a bit on the hefty side with dirty blonde hair. (got her on video). She stepped out of the van and proceeded to come and knock on my side door. There was also some movement within the van so there could have been others inside. I also got the black dog with the red collar on the front seat on video.This is the MO for those idiots breaking into your house.... The proper authorities have been notified and have all they need...Keep your doors locked and your gun loaded. This is getting way out of hand.
