I get multiple calls a day from this company  and I've answered it once and hung up right away.  I also received an email from "RBC" saying I need to verify my online banking as there was activity on my account or a failed login (which was entirely false as I had just been on my mobile banking, the only way I bank, and there was nothing strange or issues with login).  RBC doesn't send emails and if they have issues they leave phone messages or block you from your account if you fail login, then give you the number for you to call.  The email I received as also pixilated and looked fake.  Just delete it, don't go in an provide any card information.

I answered the call and they said it was RBC to check up on how they are doing with their services

Get same call, same result, pain in a***. They need to be shut down.

These clowns keep calling me at all times of the day and night. I never answer, but I wish I didn't get these calls. It doesn't surprise me that RBC refuses to take any responsibility for this.

This #has been calling repeatedly, multiple times per day. I never pick up #s I do not know.

According to a tweet posted by @RBC Insurance, this company is a partner of theirs and they can fix it if you email socialmedia.insurance@rbc.com with your details.

This number has been calling me twice a day for about a month. (28 Feb 2014)

Called my number once and I didn't answer and I never plan to. I have a voice mail for a reason and if they can't use it obviously it isn't important. Call me again and I will block them.

First time I got called from this #! I'm with Telus and I pay $2.00/month NOT to be listed! I guess that just means my # doesn't go in the phone book! Called the # back and there was a recording that said it's a marketing company called "Equinox." I pressed #1 to be removed. Then the recording said; "press 2 for English" and I hung up. I bet I haven't been removed. These telemarketer calls are so annoying!!

How do I block this number? It is so annoying to answer and then get hung up on. I have to answer my phone for work, but at least looking into this I now know not to answer this number.

They have been repeadidly calling me and asking me about my bank and credit score.

Seemed slow to answer when I asked questions about information off there desired criteria.

Keeps calling me every morning before 9a.m. I never answer because I am at work. Good thing I never have answered!

This number has been calling me every day for the last 4 weeks... at all hours of the day.  I don't answer calls I don't recognize or anything starting with 1-8XX.  I usually google numbers with 604 or 250 numbers if I don't recognize them and this one  popped up in here.  I removed my number from my RBC profile several months ago and signed up for the DO NOT CALL LIST. Augh F*** OFF.

I filed a complaint with the CRTC about this number. Let's get them disconnected.

Sorry for my English but I'm not from Canada. I did a contract with Koodo two months ago and once any two weeks I receive a call from this number. After that I say "Hello" anything happens. Afterwards, to the third "hello", someone tell me somenthing about a bank but that's not so important and he will call another day. Really strange. I'm in Vancouver (Shaughnessy)

This is a fraud company! They must have gotten hold of lots of RBC customers' data. They try to get your credit card number! I informed RBC about it but they don't care! Though someone of the RBC staff must have illegally sold customers' data to this comany, RBC does not investigate and does not feel responsible.
I received other calls from +1-855-465-4016. This company acts on behalf of RBC selling insurances. Very harassing and nasty! Even though they are hired by RBC, their customer service does not care about the way they act.

I guess it is time to change the bank!

I called back and it was a recorded message for equinox telemarketing. I googled equinox and the phone number and there was another feed saying it was a scam. Someone apparently listened to the end of the message because apparently you can press 1 at the end of the message to unsubscribe from their mailing list. I JUST tried it. Hopefully it works.

How do you get them to stop calling?

It's a telemarketing fraud using a VOIP number - has nothing to do with RBC.

I recently open RBC Investing account and applied one new RBC visa card. Since then I got annoying phone call from this 604-200-3314 number and 18007692510 several times a day. I don't know if RBC sell all their clients info to third party or just some of their employees took list of customer sell to other companies. Might sue them......

They call me once in the morning once in the afternoon and once in the evening I never answer unknown calls PERIOD.

I have been receiving calls from this number about 3-4 times a day for the past ten days or so, and always in the morning...I've never picked up, nor do I decline the call, in the hopes that they will get the hint and leave me alone...no luck so far.

Got a call from this number. The caller said he represented RBC. I foolishly let the call go on a while, merely confirming information that the caller already had (my name, address, phone number). They offered to send a brochure to my address, and in my haze I said OK. Only after the call did the penny fully drop. I followed up with RBC and, sure enough, fake. Called the 200 number back to get the recorded message "We are Equinox Telemarketing, calling on behalf of banks, insurance brokers, etc etc etc" Equinox Telemarketing does come up on Google, but with different phone numbers, and certainly NOT a VOIP signature 200-exchange number.

So yes, just ignore or block all 604-200-xxxx numbers.

Called me 3 times today.  Just started.  Haven't answered.  It is now one of two number that call incessantly.

I have received a couple of missed calls from this number, and I don't pick up because I didn't know the number.

It has been WEEKS. They call me every single day and one time when I picked up, they hung up. How do I get the to stop calling me? Has anyone else tried to call back and opt-out by pressing 1, like in  Jason K's message above?

I called the number back. There was recording about some kind of marketing company. You can block your number by pressing 1 after the msg is done.
