When I answered, the lady on the phone asked to speak to a specific woman. I told her she had the wrong phone number. She verified the number she was calling. She asked if I knew the woman at all who she had named, and I said no. She said she would take my phone number off of their database.

Seemed like a collection agency type thing.

If it's a Telus collection agent, why are they calling my home phone?

I think its a scam because it asks for your cell number so I'm thinking it wants to use up your minutes.

You must work for Telus. I have not been with them for 4 years and I do pay my bills. But they continue to call me

Called my cellphone at 4:00pm EST.  They're from British Columbia

they tried calling me 4 times today. starting at 2:45pm, 3:39pm, 4:27pm, and 5:26pm. I have had phone calls for hte previous owner of this phone but it didnt seem right to me so I never answered, as if it was important they can leave a msg.

They just called me at 3:43pm.  I didn't pick up and they didn't leave a message.  Very strange... Anyone hear anything more about this number?

Telus Mobility .. calling regarding past due account

Received a text asking if I forgot to pay my bill (reminder text) and infact I had not made a recent payment. I was advised to call a 1800 number or dial #227.
I was at work so I didnt bother calling them. The listed number 604-268-3782 called me in the evening around 6:00pm E.S.T which is 3:00pm in B.C - I did not answer as I do not answer unknown numbers. They did leave a message indicating it was telus mobility and to call them back and listed their hours of operation. I then dialed #227 and was able to make a payment arrangement with a customer service rep. She was very kind and polite and everytime I have called telus to make a payment arrangement they have never rejected the request. They are a good company and you guys should stop avoiding the calls, realize that you have to pay up or get cut off, and make a payment arrangement so you don't get cut off!

Telus is a company that evident;y doesn't communicate internally! The bills for cell phones come from Vancouver,B.C.,payments are made to Burlington.Ontario,and their Ontario office is in Scarborough! Why is it that I explained to them how I would make a payment to them when I got my pension money,they sent me a letter saying I hadn't paid,AND then they phoned from BC,but didn't leave a message on my phone! Talk about lack of communication! I thought that the person I talked to last month(October,2009) was clear on how I ws taking care of my bill! They told me I was not a problem customer,as my payment history showed! WHY are they bugging me AGAIN! They'll get their money on November 28(in 2 days)!

I just called them because I accidentally paid on my internet account instead of my mobility account so telus has an extra $200 sitting somewhere else, and they are still cutting off my cell service until I pay them on my cell account, so I told them to take it out of their internet account where it's overpaid.  Then I asked that since I am going offline until I can pay them for this account since they won't take my $200 they already have, if I could cancel some of my bundle since for 15 days I am already paying for going without a phone and they tried to tell me I am forced into paying for the bundle until I am reconnected.  Talk about bullying!  I thought it was settled, but they called my mother's house (don't know how they got that phone #) of all places over it. YOU HAVE MY FN MONEY LEAVE ME ALONE!!!

Again, pay your bills.  None calls if you do, trust me, none.

Stop wondering fellas, pay the bill!  yeap, that is why this number is calling you, if you have a telus phone and you're behind, this number will call you to remind you YOU HAVENT PAID.  And no, they dont call you 2 days after the bill is due, but weeks later.  They are kind enough to call instead of cutting off your service!

Yeah, I totally got curious with this number, but I don't answer long distance calls because I'm scared it will charge a lot. They called me twice too. I thought it was those scammers, but calling from BC is crazy. I live like 4 provinces away!
