This is a fraud campaign currently active in Canada using a series of VOIP numbers.  The objective is to obtain your credit card number and drain your account.

If you attempt to "opt out" your number will be confirmed as live and added to a suckers list for repeated future calls.

Called but didn't leave a message.

I get calls almost weekly from that number!

This is an important call, Press 1 to lower the interest rates of your Credit Cards, this is your second and final notice.  This is important as it relates to the Financial Stimulus.

I am tempted to press one to see if there is a way my number can be removed from their calling list but I doubt this would even work.

Frigging scammers!

I just got off the phone with these a-holes. I stayed on the line to request my number to be taken off - the man proceeded to harass me, then making sexual suggestions to me. It was disgusting.

Missed the call at 4:30 PM tonite, I am on the do not call list too, but I guess that doesn't matter.

Got 2 calls tonight from this number.  Unfortunately I pressed 1 to tell them to stop calling and I got someone with an Indian accet that hung up on me.  Next time they call I will get my emergency whistle press 1 and make sure the person at the other end brakes an eardrum.

I just got a call from that number. I answered nobody spoke. So the hell with them lol

just saw the number on my phone "missed call"  They called around 6:30pm.  I am getting so sick of these calls.  I have gotten Ontario, Newfoundland, Quebec, Manitoba, BC...I wish they would stop harassing.  I don't have debt or a credit card...my number is on the so called Do Not Call list I swear its just a list they sell to these people to harass everyone.  Grrrrr.

Received another call today April 30, 2013.  Heavily accented male voice, gave a foreign first name which I could not understand.  Asked what company was calling, but got the runaround, saying that they worked with both VISA and MasterCard, and were calling to help me reduce my credit card debt, and to negotiate lower interest rates with these companies.  I have no debt, and pay my accounts in full before each deadline.  They are scammers out to get credit card info. for their illegal use.  Don't respond.  Hang up.

Got a call from this number today.  Did not answer it as most numbers I get now I make a note of and call back.  Of course it is an invalid number...they can call me but I can't call them.  It is beyond irritating.  Why the phone reps don't care, I don't know.  I report them!  Thanks for your site...maybe if enough people report this number, it will get some action.

Caller could be a terrorist.

The same number called my phone about an hour ago and in the last few weeks or more, but I don't answer it. They never leave a message. I looked up the number and the name come up as Fang Y Xu - No 1 Road, Richmond BC.. I have also been getting calls from these numbers as well. 647-495-9123 and 709-700-0057 It showed no name or place.

Got a call from 604-271-8059 tonight when I wasn't home. They left no message. The number looks familiar to one I received a few weeks ago. Something about credit card debt, but I don't have a credit card.

Who is trying to kill you? These calls are an indicator that you may be the victim of organized harrassment. The goal of this harrassment is your death and it is perfectly legal in Canada.

These spoofers are either getting really lucky or have access to call logs.  The address for the person with this ph. # on Canada411 is very close to an address of a woman I know (same Rd. 2 in Richmond BC).  The thing is, I'm in Winnipeg and only speak to her every few months.  I'm guessing collection agencies; I have a few outstanding student loans that will NEVER be repaid.

keep them on the phone ... waste their time .... give them bogus info ,,, keep them from scamming some one else... I did for 20 min ... really pissed him off

I've gotten this call at least 2 to 3 times a week now since forever.  They are constantly changing their number.  I report them every time since I'm on the do not call list.  Feel like I'm banging my head against a wall since the calls never stop.

Called at 19:10 EDT. No Voice, just relay click.

just got a call from this # from  some one speaking a different language telling me he could give me a better rate on my credit card. i asked him how he knew if i had a credit card and he said i had both visa and mc, knew my last name and the phone # also.  i asked where he got his info from and he said their researchers  get it, he works for visa, mc, and large banks. he left out that they always say  they record the conversation for what ever reason. def a scammer. when i hung up i called the # on the caller i.d. and it sounded like a fax machine.

Got their call 10 minutes ago.

Since I've got "caller display", I dialed back the number.

It's a safe bet to consider this number a scam attempt.

I got the same call pretending I had a problem with my credit card ' i just told the lady I didn't had credit card than she hung up.  It sure sound like a scam.

I got this call on my phone, but they didn't leave a message. What is wrong with these people, and more so what is wrong with our country to allow such things to keep going on ? There seems to be more and more of these fraud scammers popping up all the time. Somebody should put an end to such nuisance callers. It's ridiculous !

I received a call from this number luckily while I was out and did not have to deal with it.

Number listed, unknown name - I lift the receiver, wait for the relay click-in, then hang up.  Doesn't stop them, but at least the call doesn't go to the machine so they can't tell if they've reached a valid number.
